Tiger Asian Bowl

I think a restaurant which consistently puts out a high quality product achieves the five star mark. I think most places would have difficulty pulling off a pan-​asian menu but the efforts of TAB are convincing. The white-​peppered egg drop soup has been my favorite appetizer lately.
I really like that they make drinks to order, so I’ll use the tip jar at the counter just like I would at a bar. Last time, I had a large pineapple oolong iced tea, now that’s refreshing!

I was initially skeptical due to the wide array of dishes they offer in varying areas of Asian Cuisine. Bulgogi, sushi, boba, phở, pad thai … even chicken wings! But I was definitely impressed with the flavors! I ordered the Bulgogi bowl and my lunch mate had the vegetable roll w/​a bubble tea.
We will certainly be back to see what the other styles of food have to offer and they have such a wide range that you can tick all the boxes with this one.

I was here on business and stopped in to get a some sushi and a rice bowl. This was our first time there and the guy at the front was very helpful in explaining the different items on their menu. We got the Max Spider Volcano and it was really yummy. Messy, but yummy! We also shared a bulgogi bowl and it wasn’t bad for fast food /​take out. I will definitely be back when I’m in town again.

This place is tasty. Always wanted to go visit since its local, never got around to it. Walked in and there was a hefty amount of workers even though it wasn’t busy. We all got Pad See Ew and used the Unilocal free boba deal. Their boba actually is really tasty (wish they gave more boba though). Pad See Ew is a decent portion as we couldn’t finish it. It was a little too sweet for my preference but it still was good. Not enough meat though. They checked on us to make sure we were happy with our meal. I will be back!

They deliver to my job, so a few co-​workers and I decided to order from here since it was a rainy day. I ordered the Lo Mein with no meat. The noodles and veggies were very well seasoned. I ate the entire bowl. I’ve ordered the fried rice from here before and it wasn’t as good, so I wasn’t expecting to enjoy my food as much as I did. I’ll definitely order the lo Mein again.
The online system made ordering very convenient and delivery service was very timely. They arrived 20 minutes earlier than our estimated time of arrival.

Good food, good price. Not the traditional Asian chain food taste and i appreciate that.

Very good! Solid 4.5 stars! We ordered the hibachi fried rice, bulgogi bowl & pad kee mao. The fried rice could’ve used a little more flavor, but it was still very good. The beef bulgogi had a nice mild sweet flavor & the pad kee mao had a little bit of spice. Nothing was greasy & the quality of the ingredients was great! Excellent prices and the two guys at the front were super friendly & helpful :) Will definitely be back.

Love Tiger Asian Bowl! I just ordered their Shrimp PaD Kee Mao noodle bowl and it is so delicious. If you love spicy food, you will really love this dish. Warning… It is very spicy (but I love spicy food) Thank you Tiger Asian Bowl for recommending me this dish. You guys rock! :)

Let me start by saying the rice bowls are definitely 4 stars, so I was quite conflicted about giving it less than that, but the reviews are based on more than food, right? This is a quaint hidden (literally) gem that serves up some of the best basil fried rice I’ve ever had. I’ve tasted most of the rice dishes and this the best. Add shrimp and bean sprouts and you’ve got a Thai party in your mouth;HOWEVER, you must overlook a few things to completely enjoy the inevitable food-​gasm:
1) the smell – there is an overwhelmingly fishy stench that hits you when you open the door. Now I’ve never lived in a coastal city, but I’ve been told that fresh fish doesn’t stink. With that said, your nostrils quickly adapt-​but I wouldn’t want any raw sushi here.
2)the price/​portion size – in comparison to other Asian food places that give you a trough of rice/​noodles, ATB’s portions are on the smaller side and a bit pricier. But when I go to a place with «bowl» in the name, and order a «bowl», I expect bowl sized portions and that’s what I get.
A bowl of hibachi rice, add shrimp and basil+ 2 spring rolls+6 crab Rangoon (pinwheels)= $ 17.00
So, yeah – it’s not something I choose to eat all the time when I want a cheap bite, but I do think you get what you pay for.
The shrimp are abundant, the basil is spicy and the food (despite its odoriferous beginnings) is fresh and hot.
I’ve always been treated courteously and have even sprung for their timely delivery service on occasion. Me likey, therefore I recommend and that’s that.

I sure hope you like rice because you will get A LOT of it! Food is pricey for what you get, we ordered a small cup of seaweed salad (which was good).
I had the Teriyaki fried rice with extra shrimp (because the portion of shrimp they give you normally isn’t great) and my wife had the Bulgolgi bowl.
In my dish it was 20% shrimp and 80% rice so you’re gonna fill up on rice, there are no veggies in the bowl but tiny pieces of carrot and egg. They provide you with sauces that are good and you’re gonna need them because otherwise the food on this bowl will be bland, the rice does not stand on its own.
Just like most american fusion places they substitute flavor for sweetness, if I wanted candy I’d have ordered it. Keep in mind my review is just on my bowl and not everything else. Price for both bowls was $ 24.74

Very good boba tea (lychee is my favorite). The hot and sour soup is slightly different in taste from the usual, but I actually think I like it more than the traditional flavor. The sweet and sour bowl was very good and good portion size too. You definitely need to try this place out.

Staff are nice. Noodle Soup Bowl was fine, though it had a TON of sediment.
DO NOT GET THE BOBA DRINKS.

Came in after a good workout for some boba. It was quiet inside. Not much décor going on. They had their happy hour half price drinks going on during this time from 3 – 5. They had mostly young employees.
I’ve been searching for some good jasmine milk tea with lychee jelly. Didn’t really find that here. It was pretty watered down and didn’t taste strong enough. Perhaps the food is better.

I’m tempted to give 5 stars. This was the first time that I’ve had a broth based phở/​soup/​anything, and not needed to «doctor it up» to make it taste good/​better. If you’ve a hankering for some good, spicy, beefy broth… I’m telling you… Go get. The darn. Tiger Noodle Soup Bowl. Right. Freaking. Now. It comes with two little accouterments — chili oil, and something peppery/​full of fire. I was scared that it wouldn’t be flavorful or spicy enough… WRONG. I put *all* of the two tiny teaspoons of oil and peppery goodness in the bowl and wow… my tongue and soul lit up like a bonfire in backwoods Mississippi. I ended up washing the sides of my mouth with ice… and it was so worth it (I like it hot). I also tried a philadelphia roll which was okay. Service was a little slow but the guy who helped me was nice. With fall around the corner, I’ll for sure be back.

Small dining space; total occupancy 68. Atmosphere reminds me of a neighborhoody delicatessen. Price point: about $ 7 for a bowl, $ 7 for standard/​house rolls, and about $ 12 for rolls like the volcanos of the world.

We’ve been in Allen for a couple of weeks and cannot find any Asian food anywhere. I had my doubts but so far so good. We had the spicy basil fried rice bowl and tiger noodle (which is essentially boat noodle).
The favors are on point. The owner is super nice with excellent service. This would be a good spot for lunch or if you want something fast

Ordered sushi and the yellow fried curry rice. It was all tasty but I didn’t realize they put any optional sauces actually into the rice bowl, not on the side. Ordered the spring rolls and tiger spinwheels. Pretty decent food and only requires an $ 8 minimum for delivery.

5 friends went to Tiger Asian on Friday 7÷10÷2015. Tiger has some pretty good food. The bowls we tried were very good. Size was good, temperature was good, and the spiciness was very good. We had a variety of dishes, and nobody had any complaints.
Stinky sewer smell by the drink fountain. You need to have a plumber check that drain.
Good prices for the selection of bowls. I cannot wait to go back and try the Pad Thai.

4 stars for the food and 2 stars for the drinks. I tried the bulgogi bowl this time, and it was pretty good. It comes with a side of kimchi, too! My Korean friend also commended the bulgogi, so that must mean something, right?
As for drinks… I got the taro milk tea because they said it was a popular drink. In my opinion, it tasted more watery than milky. The taro flavor is definitely there, but the drink was also kinda powdery. And there was way too much ice :(Boba was chewy, but not the best I’ve had. I’m going to stick to Bobaland for boba drinks.

I really like the concept of Asian a tiger bowl. Anything in a bowl here is going to be a great meal.
The service here is great, the people at the counter are very helpful, especially if you are not familiar with the ordering style here.
I highly suggest you start off with some of their wings here. Also it doesn’t hurt to use the Unilocal coupon for a discount. I ordered at a level four which had some zip. In the future I’ll go for more spice. The wings that stick out the most was the spicy mango compared to the Bulgolgi. Which was great by themselves, add a side of ranch and BAM you got some mango, spicy ranch goodness!
The spider roll was pretty good and had a nice flavor to it. I also enjoyed the side of homemade kimchee which added a nice balance to our meal.
Out of the two bowls we ordered my favorite was the beef Lo mein compared against the Japanese noodles. If I had them separately and not sharing with a friend I would of liked them both. But from a comparison the Lo mein just had a better flavor and noodle taste.
The wife had the infamous spicy tiger Asian bowl. This would be great to have on a chilly day or when you are craving phở. This is not phở but a Thai noodle style soup, which is still pretty darn good and almost addicting.
I wanted to try some of the desert they had here but alas I was stuffed and had no room for it.
Overall I had a really enjoyable experience here and the food is top notch. I look forward to coming back here to try more chicken wings, bowls and maybe some bubble tea.
