My wife and I have been checking out parks in the area and this seems to be well kept up. The negative part of our experience was on 2015-08-15 when we walked up to see the Visitor Center’s hours. While we were reading the hours on the door, a man in his ~50s opened the door and quite rudely told us they weren’t open until noon and then quickly shut the door. Yes, we can read. In fact, that was what we were trying to do before you opened the door. This is no way to treat anyone, let alone grown adults who were obviously reading the sign and hadn’t even pulled on the door.

The park is really good if you are a skater. It has a street part and nice bowls the only problem I have with the park is that it is sometimes PACKED with scooters and some do get in your way. The inside is really nice has air conditioning, you can get food inside and sit down. The lights also turn on when it gets dark. Very nice skate park.

I don’t know why anybody who rides or skates hasn’t reviewed this yet. But I used to Ride this park all the time. It’s a great place to ride ledges and bowls. Go when it’s not busy to avoid running over scooterer’s. The concrete can be a little slick in areas but over all it is a great surface.

This is a great place for families. My husband rides bmx & it’s nice that I can bring our 19 month old with us. There are speakers that play music during the day, an indoor chill area with CLEAN bathrooms. Also have a baby changer which is nice. The only cons are that trash accumulates throughout the day, even though there are trash bins all over. Kinda sad how some don’t respect their park.

Review from a Mom’s perspective. I feel comfortable brining my teens here. I don’t see any drugs or alcohol. Although I’ve seen people smoking– they are always outside the park. The park closes in inclement weather so you don’t have to be the bad guy & say«no» to your kids skating in the rain. The park closes if there is graffiti, so kids tend to keep it clean. There isn’t much viewer seating. I bring a folding lawn chair & a good book since the kids are always here for a while. As far as the kids– there are plenty of cool ramps & jumps to keep them entertained for hours, restrooms, water fountain, call button for emergencies & a place to get air conditioning. All skill levels welcome– I’ve seen 3yr olds through 20-something’s skating. I’d give 5 stars if it had more seating & shade for observers/parents.
