Popular Gourment Popcorn & Sweets

I’ve ordered from this place half a dozen times for everything from birthday parties to farewell gifts and while the flavors are unique the product quality and customer service is simply awful and I will never order from there again.
The first problem I had was when I ordered peppermint and candy cane popcorn for Christmas gift bags. I was shocked when I got home for our Christmas party and the bags were filled with a completely different flavor even though I ordered well in advance of picking them up. When I took them back the owner said the flavor I ordered was too hot to bag at the time and would have melted the bags. Only after what seemed like an eternity of arguing did she replace the item (post-​party of course).
Last Friday I ordered caramel popcorn as a farewell gift for my daughter’s teacher and our son’s nanny. The popcorn was so stale that even my husband who loves everything couldn’t eat it. Now my poor daughter’s teacher must feel we didn’t think much of her!
When I took a bag of the stale popcorn back to the store today the owner again had so many reasons why it was terrible like it being a new brand of corn, and how I was the second person this week to come back in. Only after her «complaining» did she say, «Well, what exactly would you like me to do about it?»
I will NEVER spend another penny in this place and don’t know why I EVER left «Mom and Popcorn» in McKinney. If you’re looking for great popcorn AND great service… travel the extra distance!
