Aliso Viejo Church of the Cross & Christian School

My son attended Aliso Viejo Christian School for a few months and I have to say that we were extremely satisfied with their service. The staff in the administration, and the teachers are all extremely professional and knowledgable. My son really enjoyed his time at this school and made many great friends. Unfortunately, we moved to a different location and our far commute to this school was not feasible. I highly recommend this school. My wife and I were completely satisfied.

First off, please disregard 2 of the reviews here. One is for the Church. It is one persons opinion that went there once. Nothing at all to do with the school. The other, though they liked it, speaks to the preschool. There is no preschool on this campus. It is located at a completely different campus. So basically, neither of these reviews (1 positive, 1 negative) apply since neither are about Aliso Viejo Christian School.
Our son has attended there for 4 years. We have had overall a very good experience. Good teachers, attentive staff, beautiful campus. A positive, Christ-​based environment. We highly recommend it.

We attended LCC preschool for 2 years loved it. Very caring teachers and staff. Great school really prepared my kids.

Love love love this school! The front office staff is amazing. The teachers are as well. I cannot say enough good about this school and all of the wonderful people that work there. We feel so blessed to have found this school!

This review is for the church. Let me start with the fact that I went to this church once and the pastor was very nice and everything was fine. It’s a small church, but they play the loudest music I have every experienced. Now just this experience would have earned them at least a 4 star but then I got home and checked out the free news booklet we took. I found a donation slip in it. As I was studying it I saw that you can chose between options on how your donation is used. One of the options is the school that is connected to the church. Now if this was a non profit school I would say that’s great. But this is a private christian school they run and I looked up the tuition for one year and it’s about $ 7500. How shady does one have to be to ask for donation for a school that profits that much money from each child attending it?

My daughter attends Kindergarten at AVCS and we could not be happier with the school. The class sizes are smaller than public schools and the care that the teachers and staff give the kids is very loving, kind and compassionate. The education is terrific and the different programs they offer for activities are great for the kids. My daughter was involved in the Spirit Team (Cheerleading) and loved it. Also, the cost for the school is very reasonable. If you’re thinking about private school you definitely should check this one out.
