Advance Shuttle

I am a regular traveler. I told the driver that I was going to the Anaheim Marriott. I said, «Let me give you the address…» He said, «No, not necessary; I know where it is…» I said, but is there only one Marriott in Anaheim. Which he then said, «Yes…»
You guessed it; he took my money and I didn’t know I was at the wrong hotel until I check in at the front the desk. Another woman was dropped off and turned to me at the front desk and said, «I KNEW IT, you kept asking him to verify that this was the correct hotel and he ignored you… you seemed experienced and wanted to make sure you got to the right place!»
The worst was when I called Advance Shuttle to speak to them about what had just happened. The guy on the phone was yelling at me and told me that his drivers NEVER take people to wrong hotels! Unbelievable…
The Marriott felt so bad that they put me in a cab and PAID for it. Advance Shuttle could have cared less…

Advance Shuttle was a dependable, cheap way to get from the Disneyland area to and from John Wayne airport. My group of 4 called in advance and they were waiting for us, only downside being that we had to wait a few minutes for another group to arrive. When we called from our hotel for a return pick-​up, they were on-​time literally to the minute. Both of the drivers we had were extremely polite and helpful.

I took the OC Cruiser, which I understand is owned by Advance Shuttle, from John Wayne airport to a hotel for a business trip.
I arrived at the John Wayne airport in the early evening of May 28. Before getting on to OC Cruiser shuttle, I asked If they accepted credit cards. I was told, «absolutely, just get on». When I tried to pay with my credit card, the driver proceeded to actually yell at me, telling me, «what are you doing? This is a waste of time and a waste of gas! It’s only 10 dollars, don’t you have the cash!» He did this for about a minute before huffing and taking out the credit card machine. After received that treatment, I decided not to include a tip. He then asked where his tip was and when I told him that I wasn’t going to tip him after yelling at me like that, he replied that «this is Orange County,» whatever that means.
I find it extremely inappropriate and unprofessional for a driver to treat a passenger this way. In the future, I will make sure that neither myself nor any of my colleagues take anything but supershuttle.
