I couldn’t be more grateful to A G Assanti and their staff. If I miss anyone, I apologize. Vera, Ashley, Kateryna, Maricela and Alex have been supportive, pro-​active, and thorough; through a contentious divorce and custody process. If it weren’t for their dedication to facts and fairness, and just being decent people, I highly doubt that I would have access and custody to the most important people in my life; my children. There is no thanks or appreciation I could possibly give that could compare to what they have done.

These guys practice several areas of law. They are not afraid to litigate but tell you how it is even if you don’t like to hear it .The fee rates are very competitive and they will accommodate you. They will meet you after hours or weekend when needed. You can even reach attorney on his cell phone (how rare is that?). They are a boutique firm and have a close relationship with their clients and you can come to them with many of your needs. This firm is very well known in the motorcycle community. One of the attorneys, Alex, used to race professionally and has won titles, which makes him better understand issues of motorcyclists from many prospective. Give it a try, they are pretty cool! :)

When the devil comes calling he doesn’t look like a snake in the grass. He’s dressed in a nice Italian suit telling you whatever you need to hear. In my opinion this guy is a snake that’s only out to settle the case quick, get his fee and leave. He’s smart I’ll give him that but don’t for a second think he’ll use his smarts in your favor it’s all about the quick cash with him.
A tow truck driver pulled out infront of me right before a light that was green for me and because one witness either didn’t like motorcycles or didn’t remember the facts clearly wasn’t exactly on my side he used that as the reason why I would lose if we went to trial and I should just settle or be stuck with huge medical bills and the like.
I looked to me like he did not want to take my case to trial! He kept trying to force me to settle and I kept asking are you refusing to go to trial for me? And it sounded to me like he thought I was recording the conversation or something and would clam up and say no he’s not saying that. He then began to tell me to find new representation but everywhere I went said they don’t take cases that late in the game so pretty much I was stuck with him.
My parents wouldn’t believe me when I was saying that it seemed to me that he’s not wanting to fight for me they kept saying that’s his job. When my father came to one of the last court appearances to figure if it was going to trial or not he actually got to hear all the things he was saying to me to get me to either settle or fire him and all I wanted was him to just do his job.
My father got so upset hearing all the weasly things he was saying and told him «your job is to F%#king fight for my son» It looked to me like he took that opportunity of a father sticking up for his son and used it to his advantage. He told my father «look old man don’t you cuss at me I’d kick your ass if we weren’t in court» My father stood up walked past him and said lets go outside then!
I was tripping out this was right in the court room I couldn’t believe it my father just sat outside the rest of the time and I did everything but break down in tears saying that I know I wasn’t at fault in the accident and that I wanted God and 12 of my peers to decide cause in my heart I know I was right.
And of course he says exactly want you want to hear at the time. But a few days later I get a letter from my lawyers office saying that he’s firing himself from being my lawyer and using the OTHER GUYS company lawyer who he referred to as «looking faggot» after the deposition. (my father and I just looked at each other after that one) as a witness saying that he heard my father wanting to beat up my lawyer in court?!
Needless to say after all that I just wanted everything to go away and called up my lawyer and said ok I’ll sign. Already this is a long post and I didn’t even add all the other things that I went through but if I can get just a few people to read my opinion of what happen and expose that pastel colored suit wearing weasel for who I think he really is then maybe some good can come out of all the bad.
In my opinion if you have an easy or slam dunk case then by all means hire him but if you want a lawyer that won’t cut and run when «he» says things look bad then Assanti is not the lawyer for you.

My wife and I cannot begin express the gratitude that we have for the entire team at A.G. Assanti and Associates. Alex, Ashely, & Kateryna were excellent to work with. The level of professionalism, communication, and attention to our case was fantastic!!!

Less then a year ago my boyfriend’s race rig was hit. The incident left him with no transportation to the track, huge list of damage done to internal and external parts of the RV, and most importantly physical damage to his arm.
He wasn’t able to return to work which started to cause a lot of stress on our family.
He made a call to AG Assanti and in no time they started helping him out with what needed to be done. Anything that they could handle from their end was handled and anything we needed to do someone from their office had no problem walking us through it. They kept us up to date the entire process and made sure we were comfortable with any actions that needed to take place.
They got him back on track both physical and financially.
If it wasn’t for Assanti helping out as much as they did our year would be filled with endless medical bills and a dry race season.
If we ever need any sort of law firm assistance in the future AG Assanti and Associates will be who we use.

I used Assanti for a recent motorcycle accident in which I sustained injuries. A driver pulled into my lane without looking which sent me to the ground. It was not a fun day.
The staff was very professional and adept to the specialty needs of this type of case. They worked pretty diligent covering all aspects to maximize my claim. No stone unturned and pretty honest and up front on what to expect. They were also very understanding of the hardship brought upon you when you find yourself out of work and injured. They handled everything including managing some of my medical claims by deferring payments with liens until my case settled. In the end we settled with the other drivers insurance. I was fortunate that the driver who hit me had insurance, but insurance co, s still want to screw you, hence why I opted for legal help. They were diligent with the settlement, typical fees of other Lawyers, and over all I was pleased with results. Alex used to ride too, so there is that extra connection when it comes to understanding a motorcycle case.

Terrible, terrible, terrible law firm.
Two years ago I was involved in a catastrophic motorcycle accident where the other party was the undisputed, 100% at-​fault party. After being t-​boned by an illegally left-​turning driver and suffering multiple broken bones, two surgeries, internal bleeding, the formation of several, life-​threatening bloodclots during a ten-​day stay in the hospital, I thought the worst was over. Boy, was I wrong.
First, I signed with Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys in Sherman Oaks after one of their nice-​as-​pie sales reps (that what they are) visited me in the hospital and swore his firm would «fight for me, «but after a month it was clear they hadn’t done so much as a simple online asset check. After I complained, they did the asset check and dropped me as a client, but not before charging me $ 250 for their non-​existent effort. Next, I contacted A G Assanti & Associates and spoke to their rep, a deceptively bright woman named «Carolina.» Someone in that office immediately did an asset check, which immediately gave them points in my book. Unfortunately, though the perpetrator of my collision owned a house, he was deeply buried (upside down) in his loan, so had virtually no assets. Still, Carolina informed me that they could still go after other assets, so I signed. A year later, all this racketeer of a law firm did was write a letter asking the other guy for money. That was it: a whole year for, essentially for a tepid letter. The other service this firm offered was to negotiate my extensive medical bills, but they never really did that either. About a month after signing, I was awarded a charity award where most of my $ 400,000 medical debt was forgiven. The catch was, I might not be qualified if I was in the midst of pursuing any legal recourse for damages. What my schiester attorney should have done here, was recuse himself from representing me and just charge me a small fee for the minimal work he had thus far done. Instead, in spite of the possibility of losing the charity award because of their involvement, Assanti and his gang kept the case. I later learned that two days after signing with them, Assanti’s office had contacted the other party’s insurance company who informed Assanti that their client’s maximum coverage was $ 50K and that was all that I was going to get. That was a year before Assanti concluded the case for which the money that the insurance ultimately paid was exactly that $ 50K they had offered a year earlier — less Assanti’s 30% cut. In the meantime, my credit was trashed because of the long delay in paying the remaining outstanding medical bills. Near the conclusion of their charade, I went into Assanti’s office and this scum-​of-​scums Assanti promised me a discount on the 30% he was going to take because he acknowledge that he had done virtually nothing for me. Of course, he never gave me that discount and WEEKS after he received the insurance money, he took his full cut. This, even though I needed more money for a vital surgery to remove a potentially life-​threatening filter implanted in my chest following the accident. No, he just took the money and ran. If that alone doesn’t illustrate what a heartless shell of a person this guy is, what would? But what really gets me is, in retrospect, I realized that this guy knew exactly how all this would pan out from the start. He knew he would get no money from the other side, just the insurance money, but he wanted an easy 30% anyway. I could have dealt directly with the insurance company (something Assanti advised against) and gotten ALL the money and within mere weeks of contacting them. Also, Assanti’s other attorney in the office, a truly obnoxious and inept woman, at one point wrote me a curt letter telling me that I should be «happy» with my $ 30K share of the settlement. I got half that, they got the rest. See? Both inept and obnoxious.
So, fellow motorcyclists, do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this firm. Learn from my inexperience and naïveté. Following an accident, hire (pay him) an attorney for a half-​hour consult, but be sure you are clear with him (or her) that you have no intention of hiring them if they tell you to procure an attorney. That way greed and deceit are less likely to play a factor in their advice. I recently gave that advice to a friend and saved him THOUSANDS of dollars following his motorcycle accident. Most of you don’t even need an attorney. Only get one if the person who causes your accident is loaded or hits you on city, county, state, of federal business. Just deal with the insurance company yourself and save yourself that 30%, a helluva lot of time, and maybe, as in my case, your credit.
