This place is horrible. There are lot of dead fish in the tank. The boss is so greedy. Everything jack up the price. I never stop by again.

One star only because their bettas are living in horrific conditions! PLEASE, change their water!

I’m a very busy Unilocaler so I usually stop in on Sundays. Mason is always there on the weekends and always helps me with anything I need. He’s always accommodating and knows TONS about fish and tanks.
Everything they sell here, they sell at an extremely low price. I get my fish food and fish pumps here. I also like coming just to look at the beautiful coy fish they have. Great selection if you’re a coy fish person.

Different people rate fish stores in different ways, I like rating them by the rare fish they have and not how clean it is! This fish store has many rare freshwater fish that I have only seen online! They have many arrowanas, plecos, discus and flower horns! They have rare fish that serious fish buyers would love to buy! I recommend coming to this store and be ready to spend some money!

I went to this place & I love it, they had everything that I need from salt to fresh, those staff help me all the way which fish is look nice in my tank not even that they show me how to take care my fish & remind me call them if I née help, for sure I will be back, now my tank is very beautiful & very good price.

I’ve been to so many tropical fish stores and this one is by far the best. I love this place! It has all of the rate fish other stores don’t have. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and hilarious as well. I got a great deal on my fish and they’re extremely heathy and happy. I recommend! If it’s not near you it’s worth the drive.
Also, it’s right next to Mr. Goods donuts. It’s a little hard to find if you drive by.

The fish with a reasonable price, they have a lot of goldfish the person ken which was the owner he always give you a special price, so let’s check it out. they have a lot of flowerhorn, which was my Favorite fish

1 of the best fish store in this area. I can say they have everything that i need for my saltwater aquarium. They knowledgeable and the price is reasonable. The owner always nice with me.
Note for new customer, the guys here look not nice at first time, but when you start talking with them, they are actually nice and friendly.

The tanks for the fish are small and dirty, fish are way overpriced and service isn’t the best. Definitely won’t be returning, most of there salt tanks are covered in slime and scum and there saltwater fish have ick. there live rock is way overpriced and ruined my reef tank. It has bristle worms and other unwanted pesk. the freshwater side was even worse, the Fh were crammed in small tanks. The tanks were literally the size of the bag they came in. There fish are skinny diseased and malnourished.

Always helpful and they got the most variety of fish I have seen. They really listen to the demand and get what you want.

this place has been around for years. they used to be in MPK on garvey. They were better back then but still OK now.
I buy all my saltwater fish and corals from them since 2001. great selection and price.

This is the only place that carried a black arowana at the time that i needed it.
The guy with the glasses had good customer service and was knowledgeable and I was even the first customer to receive a free 2015 calendar. Thanks TOTAL FISH AND PETS!

store shoukd be named ‘total fish neglect’
wow. the owner clearly dont care about the fish at all. the outside of the store is in rundown, the front window has layers upon layers of empty new aquariums ‘for sale’.
–you can’t see through the algae build-​up on the inside of the ‘feeder fish’ tank and you can’t see more than 4 inches into the water because its filthy.
–decomposing bettas at the bottom of their cups.
–majority, if not all, of the fish are un saleable due to poor health.

–patches of missing scales
–severe fin rot to the point where it has reached the body of the fish
–dead or almost dead fish in every tank
–overpopulated tanks
–overpopulated store
–every tank had fish (including several pricey lionfish) w obvious signs of distressed breathing

–many, many fish w chemical burn and/​or patches of healing burns
–yellow tint water in every tank
–smaller tanks placed under the larger tanks that had clearly been with ‘forgotten’. i don’t know if that fish was already dead or alive.
the list goes on.
as i walked out of the store, my heart sank for the poor fish.
i understand its a business’ but for any business if you have poor quality ‘product’ (and/​or poor customer services skills) your business suffers, if the owners put effort into maintaining a quality ‘product’ (product = healthy fish) then that gives the business and opportunity to thrive.
even if you wanted to buy fish from here, there is no health one to choose from.

I was driving home from a meeting in the area and decided to stop glad I did. Had a good amount of red parrots and they look real healthy. There dry goods were a decent price. Also had a really healthy salt water selection. Price rise on live stock a little out of my range but if I lived in the area I would pay it.

I got my flowerhorn «Buddy» from this store. The owner gave me a good deal on him and he is a very gentle and friendly flowerhorn. I’ve had him for a year now and he is very healthy and playful, like a puppy! He loves mangos and bananas! His favorite color is pink, but he hates the color red. He has favorite stuffed animals that he chases around when I hold them in front of the tank. He’s a great fish and very intelligent.
The owner seemed fairly nice when I bought the flowerhorn from him. He gave me some water from his tanks so I can quick start the nitrogen cycle in mine. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase. His flowerhorns seem quite healthy and I got lucky with «Buddy» — he’s an awesome fish.

This shop is right by my friends job so we stopped in to look around. well its a dusty mess if u need equipment. distant staff … had a few cool fish tho some really big tangs and a bunch of coral … I’d give it more stars if it was cleaner.

The selection here can be pretty good, but the owner is kind of a jackass.
They get a lot of fancy plecos and other hard-​to-​find find fish. I’ve also seen some big datnoids, Peacock bass, and other big fish. Some of it is really pricey but some is pretty cheap too. Just depends what you’re after. I bought a gold nugget pleco for $ 25 and I thought it was a great price.
The owner never looks happy to see you. You can bargain with him, but if he doesn’t like your offer, you’ll get some dirty looks and he’ll talk a little shit about you in Mando under his breath.
Overall it’s an OK store.

A Review from a Reef Addict’s Point of View:
Been here twice already. And I am an avid shopper for salt water reef tank stuff. You could say I am a «reefer» or «reef addict «. Any who first time I was amazed by their wiiiiiiiiiide selection for sps, lps corals! And at prices that if not match, beat online prices! I go to different fish stores and Total is definitely one of the better ones both in selection and price! Not to mention very friendly and helpful staff. I don’t feel bad spending my hard earned money here. I will most likely be back for more!

This fish store is never busy. But at least the guys working there are quite helpful. They are friendly, and is ready to serve you. They have a good variety of fish inside. But not much in terms of quantity. So take whatever they give you.
I bought five salt water snails there, and one already died when I got home. I paid about $ 1.20 per snail. The other time I paid probably $ 1.00 each. I guess it depends on their mood or the quantity they have to sell. I do expect them to make a profit, but sometimes it’s hard for all of us because we don’t know how long the fish or snail will last before it dies. I guess that’s the risk we take.
Anyhow, they have a good variety stock, good inventory of tanks for sale, and the store is not that big… but good enough.
All I could say is negotiate everything you buy. Nothing is ever set in stone.
