Been going here since I was in high school(was one of those asian high school kid that sat there with a boba all day) and still a gem(10 years now). Price stays reasonable and affordable, have smoothies made from fresh fruits on the menu. Delicious popcorn chicken and other fried snacks. Avocado smoothie is the BEST, and can’t go wrong with plain and simple green tea boba. Will always love this place. This shop will always have a warm place in my heart. 9 stars

I’m SOOOOO disgusted ! I mean don’t get me wrong I love this place and order from here a lot but today they just let it get out of hand, there were so many nasty flies near the lights and they were crawling around the tables EVERYWHERE. And they kept the doors wide open to let more and more in. What’s even more disgusting is I ordered food to go and when I opened my bag there was a fly dying on the top of my drink! I called to let them know about the problem and all they told me was«ok sorry». I really really hope this problem is addressed because I come pretty regularly and I wouldn’t want it to happen again.

While the menu may be a bit overwhelming, the food items are delicious for quick bites. Drinks are great, food is awesome.

So I found a hair in my food and I reported it to someone who works there and they did not even say a word about it. They just moved on with their business. Horrible.

WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER!!! I was served by an employee by the name of Paula. I came up to the cashier uncertain of what combo meal to purchase and after asking her what she recommended, she basically gave me a stink eye and said the popcorn chicken was the most popular. Okay whatever I disregarded her behavior. I then asked what was the difference was between the pork chop and osaka pork chop she RUDELY, DISRESPECTFULLY, ANDDISCOURTEOUSLY told me that one had curry and the other didn’t. She also went on and stated very rude remarks such as «Do you not know the what japanese style is?» WELLOBVIOUSLYNOT. considering I don’t work at tapex and YOUDO. Understandably, I had asked her repeat what she explained a few times as I couldn’t hear her, but that is no excuse to talk to a customer in that manner. She also had the audacity to huff under her breath and roll her eyes. Beyond enraged. HORRIBLE. I will take my business to lollicup instead.

While not the nicest location I really love their drinks. Service was friendly, drinks came out quickly, I love their slushies the most. Passion fruit and green apple were on point, refreshing and really hit the spot. Prices are ok, though I wish they had larger size drinks available as well. Perfect stop while on the go, not a place where I would sit and hang out forever, but great while passing through the area!

Food and drinks are good but the non smiling lady that works there needs to really improve her attitude especially towards customers.

3.5 stars. Like the new look. The wood brings out warm tones and good feel to this place. The store is not completely renovated, but the place seem slightly updated compared to before. I’ve always gotten the popcorn chicken(they call it Crispy Chicken) $ 4.25. Liked the Fried Tofu $ 2.75. Sometimes I switch it up with calamari rings or squid balls or tempura. When I’m hungry, the braised pork rib bowl/meal is a good choice. This spot is perfect for fast Asian food/snacks. Drinks. Liked their Watermelon by itself or a lot of times, I’ve gotten Watermelon Milk(Lg @ $ 3.45). Honeydew Milk is good too. Milk tea is alright/decent. Like it with mini tapioca. The miniature ones are so hard to find. Most tea shops have the regular size boba. Tried the Brown Sugar Tea Latte with less sweet/light sugar(Lg @ $ 3.95). It was actually not bad. I thought it would have came with crema or cream top, but it’s ok. It tasted quite decent. Might just start getting that instead of the signature/regular milk tea. Oh, and iced green tea is almost a safe choice. Oh no, their Fried Tofu taste different! Doesn’t taste bad, but liked the old flavor much better. Please bring back the old flavor and/or how it was made before!

Tapioca Express was a Shalyn W recommendation. I completely understand why it’s addictive. Nice for a change, but equivalent to fast food in prices too. My aunt likes it as much as me. Chinese fast food… Great!

This place is really nostalgic for me. Growing up in the 626, this is what you did — BOBAALLDAY. I mean, I wasn’t one of those teens that hung out here for hours with large groups. I had cravings, and needed to get my fix every other day. Tap Ex was close to home and affordable. I came back recently with my sister and the place felt the same, yet different. It seemed to have aged with me. I’m a few years shy from 30, but I noticed the other patrons were all well past their teenage years as well. This used to be the high school kick it spot! Lol… im getting old? The menu was about the same as well, with minor changes. I got the popcorn chicken rice combo that comes with your choice of black/green tea. I opted for black tea and it was refreshing, but a little too sweet. The popcorn chicken combo is great though — just as good as I remember The place is small and dated — it could use some updating and better décor.

This is my go-to-spot for an Almond snow bubble with boba. I’ve tried other places but this place makes it the best. I have been here over a dozen times to order this drink and they have never disappointed me. The location is small but busy. They have about 6 tables and most of the time they are occupied with students or people on laptops, so I always order to-go. I have also tried some of their food. Their sausage and rice combo was just okay, I may or may not try it again. On the other hand, my fiancé and I do enjoy their popcorn chicken. We usually stop by here late at night, so the popcorn chicken is the perfect size and taste for a late night snack.

3÷5÷16 – I asked a friend of mine to deliver a snack and drink to me earlier today around 3PM and I have got to say, it wasn’t what I expected. He got me an order of the crispy/popcorn chicken and a boba milk tea. First of all, the chicken was way too oily and salty. it wasn’t even crispy. It looked overcooked and soaked in frying oil, gross. I couldn’t even finish it because of how much oil it was soaked in. LOL. Secondly… the boba in my milk tea was beyond disappointing. I would expect your boba to be at least fresh or soft and chewy but instead, I got nasty, old, hard boba that was probably left out in the open for a long period of time. Sure the price paid was decent for two items but I guess what you pay is what you get. I’d rather go next door to lollicup and pay a little more for higher quality food and drinks. In other words, this place needs some improvement. Won’t be coming back here… *P.S: portions are also SMALL.

I ordered a Thai tea milk tea, which is one of the easiest drink in most boba locations. This drink didn’t taste right. It tasted as though they premixed it and then added more tea to it. Also at the front entrance it is very crowded but there’s a few back tables to sit. As for customer service, the register employee did not seem excited that he’s working. Very boring attitude. Didn’t greet or anything. I wouldn’t be back. There are other boba or restaurants nearby.

HIEVERYONEAVIODTHISSHITHOLEPLACE. They serve mold. ANDTHEYTHINKITSNORMALANDOKAY. Like wtf. after 3 – 4 hours my drank sat on the table and it turned into mold and the next day I called them and asked why r they serving customer MOLD or why does this even happen and if it’s drinkable and they said no so I’m like okay can I get my refund and they said NO even tho they served me this piece of crap. Wtf. 2÷7÷15 around 9pm. Never ever coming back to this place. And they expect me to get this settle and resolve the same day to get a refund when THEYWERECLOSEDBYTHEN. So is it my fault I couldn’t reach this establishment? They only way I could’ve communicated back to this shit place and its the next day. I hope this place closed down. Tip for everyone is to get boba next door it’s worth paying extra few quarters for better non mold drinks.

Spicy Crispy Chicken meal. Have you tried it? If not, you should try it. Variety is the spice of life. You like spice? Get it spicy. You don’t like spice? Get it non-spicy.

It was good, as always. We tried the honeydew milk tea for the first time and my girlfriend loved it. Although we were a little disappointed with the onion rings, it was mostly batter & crumbs. One more thing, I hate how one of the ladies kept on saying«oh my god blah blah blah, oh my god blah blah» very loud while talking to one more person. It was just very unprofessional. All in all it was a good snack and i advice to keep talking to a mimimum. :)

Tasty but after I found a bug in my drink on the ice I wasn’t very pleased and didn’t get a refund or any type of great service. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Considering this was my first visits, didn’t get a great impression.

After brunch snack on Sunday, 2÷15÷15 This location is pretty small and tucked in next to Lollicup so be sure you’re in the right place. I really enjoy coming here because they have fresh fruit. I’ve had their honeydew snow bubble and papaya milk drinks. Delicious! If fruit drinks aren’t your thing, you can’t go wrong with honey green tea. For a snack, my usual is the spicy squid balls. I’d order extra spicy but medium is good as well. Parking can be pretty tough during peak hours so it’s good to come by with friends who can drop you off and pick you back up when you’re done. There’s one restroom for customers only so ask the cashier for the restroom key. Service was quick and the staff members were friendly.
