This review is on behalf of my fiancé (Will) who had an appointment I sat in on with Dr. Min. I am a nurse (RN) myself and just wanted to try to absorb as much medical info as possible to help Will figure out the best course of treatment. We found the office to be clean, newly renovated, and friendly. Will has horrible seasonal allergies and nasal congestion so need has been searching for a doctor that would help him with this issue. Dr. Min is informative, knowledgeable, patient, and has a very relaxed attitude. Also worth mentioning is he is against the patient doing costly, unnecessary test that cost a ton of money and are out of pocket. Will will go for a blood allergy test and try so nasal sprays. Follow up appointments to follow after the results are in. We enjoyed his care. I work with a ton of doctors and I can smell out the good ones. This doctor here is a good one!

I took my 21 month old to see Dr. Min today because of some acute hives that were formed on his hand and face. It was an emergency situation and my ped was booked for the day. Dr. Min’s office squeezed my son in on a super busy day, and my son was a new patient too! The front desk was friendly and efficient.
By the time Dr. Min saw my son, the hives were mostly gone, but doc still examined him very patiently and thoroughly. He didn’t just give us some generic answers to get us out the door. He was very friendly and answered all my questions. My son also loved him and didn’t cry at all through the entire exam! He also got stickers on the way out!
Dr. Min is knowledgeable and friendly! I highly recommend him!

Dr Min is the perfect doc for allergy/​eczema in young kids. He’s super knowledgeable and great fun with kids — even babies. I highly recommend Dr Min if you’re child has any allergy issues!

Dr. Min is wonderful! I am a healthcare provider myself so I am extremely critical when it comes to reviewing other doctors. Not only is Dr. Min very knowledgeable, he is also patient, friendly, caring, and easy to talk to. Dr. Min took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. He even contacted me later to make sure my daughter was doing better. The staff I encountered at his office were also friendly and helpful.

Although Dr. Min wasn’t able to help my mom as her issues are beyond allergies and are so complex, he cared enough to review her files after their appointment and to check around with other colleagues. My experience with most doctors, if they say they can’t help you, that’s the end of that and there’s no contact afterwards. He not only followed up with me weeks after their appointment and made some helpful suggestions; he also went above and beyond and sent a referral for my mom to be seen at USC dermatology. He couldn’t directly help her with her issues, but he helped her by pointing me in the right direction and hopefully we’re one step closer in helping my mom get better. Dr. Min is the BEST!!!

Scheduled my appointment two weeks in advance. Arrived 45 mins early to my appointment to fill out my paperwork. Signed their paperwork that asked type of payment which said, cash, check and credit card. Checked the credit card box and was then told «sorry we do not accept credit card». Why even have it as an option on your paperwork? Not once was I notified it was cash/​check only. Not when I scheduled the appointment. Not when I received a call the day prior verifying my appointment. I have a Health Savings Account credit card I use for all health related care. Wish I would’ve known prior that I couldn’t use it. Cancelled the appointment. What a waste of my time.
* Update — Dr. Min called a couple hours later and personally apologized.

Dr Min is the doc to go to for eczema/​allergies. My baby’s eczema came on at around 2 months. By his 3^rd month it was full blown. He was miserable and couldn’t sleep because he was so itchy. I contacted Dr Min and he very patiently answered all of my questions. He went through different options that I could try on my baby. I tried many different steps to help my baby find relief and Dr Min was there to guide us every step of the way! 3 months later, My baby’s skin has cleared up and he is a completely different (happy) baby! If you (or your baby) are suffering from eczema or allergies, go see Dr Min right away!

I’ve always had a varying case of Hay fever throughout the year (guess that’s just plain allergies then, huh?) and never thought to see anyone for it. Then a friend referred Stuart and after taking a long time to diagnose my many fleeting symptoms, figured out what had been ailing me all these years. I’m 33. If you have allergies to anything, I’m serious, go see Dr. Min.

My first visit with Dr. Min was for my daughter. My daughter had both of her eyes swollen and we were concern so we took her in on a Saturday and Dr. Min was kind enough to see us without an appointment. He was very kind and understanding and explained everything to us of what might of happened. He’s not a doctor that will have u try all these expensive medication, he would give recommendations first and if that didn’t work then he will prescribe something. Even after my daughter got better, he continuously called to make sure she’s doing good. I will be recommending all my friends and family to him because they deserve a caring allergist like Dr. Min.

Very considerate and passionate Doctor. Dr. Min was very punctual and he actually takes the time to not only go in depth but is willing to answer any questions. He is very knowledgeable and is just an overall great person to have a conversation with. I had my allergic reaction test and he not only gave me the basic rundown but also took the time to give me a thorough analysis.

I personally have never really suffered from allergies luckily, so when my baby’s eczema kept getting worse and worse I didn’t know what to do. After continued visits with different pediatricians we were finally advised to see an allergist and that’s when we found Dr. Min. He was extremely patient with us and made sure to answer all our questions. What is the best about his services and care is that it continues even after your visit. His continued care in making sure everything is working out ok and even offering additional advice or answering additional questions seems so rare these days, but really makes all the difference. Unfortunately my baby’s eczema is still a constant issue, but Dr. Min has helped us figure out how to deal with it and I feel comfortable knowing that if I ever had another question or flare up I could easily contact Dr. Min for guidance.

My experiences with allergists in the past have been lacking, at best. I am allergic to cats and have sneezing and runny nose after stays in hotels. It does not help that I travel quite a bit for work and its hard to avoid the hotel air. Zyrtec and sinus rinses reduced the symptoms but never quite suppressed them.
A friend referred me to Dr. Min and by far the best 30 minutes I have spent with a doctor. He listened patiently, explained in simple terms what has been happening and what options I could consider. The new medication that he prescribed works like a charm. Its been four weeks and I have not had any issues whatsoever; this is new to me! Dr. Min has followed up regularly since my visit to check on my progress. Overall, competent and friendly. Highly recommended.

Last Monday, halfway through the work day, I started developing this weird rash all over my stomach. By mid-​afternoon it had spread to my legs and arms– this rash was on a roll. I tried using some over-​the-​counter allergy medications (zyrtec, some anti-​itch cream) which didn’t help at all. I tried my best to stay focused and get through the workday, but that was pretty hard as I was itching like crazy.
At the start of Rash Day 2, I knew I needed professional help. A friend recommended I see Dr. Min. His office was able to squeeze me in that same day (Thank You!). I could not have been happier with my experience.
Dr. Min was very thorough, patient, and knowledgeable. Just by looking at my blotchy skin, he was able to tell me the potential causes of the rash. Dr. Min dissuaded me from getting unnecessary (and potentially costly) tests or drastically changing my diet, but instead prescribed me medication to quickly make the rash go away.
Sure enough, within a few days, the rash was completely gone, and I was back to my normal itch-​free life again.
Dr. Min even called me back on his own over the next few days to check in on me which seems to be really rare with doctors nowadays! I really appreciated the gesture.
If you’re looking for a smart, patient, friendly allergist who just wants to look out for his patients, look no further than Dr. Min!

Stuart is a very thorough doctor! I recently just switched to him and I am very happy about it. He keeps frequent contact with you and checks up on you to make sure everything is fine. He understands your needs and does his best to fulfill them. He is also super friendly and kind.

When my son was about 10 months old, I fed him egg yolk for the first time and he had an allergic reaction by breaking out in hives all over his body and getting swollen ears and lips. When it was time for his MMR vaccine at 15 months, I brought him to Dr. Min because I had heard that the vaccine had an egg component and needed to be administered by an allergist. Dr. Min informed me that there is actually no need to worry about giving my son the vaccine with an egg allergy because it is made in chick embryo cell cultures and has minimal egg content. He also referred me to an article in the New England Journal of Medicine concluding that it is safe to administer the MMR vaccine to children with egg allergies. Thanks to Dr. Min’s expert and up-​to-​date knowledge, my son was able to get the vaccine as he normally would at his pediatrician’s office with no reaction or complications. Dr. Min was great at listening to our issue, asking the right questions and thoroughly explaining why the vaccine was safe for our son. I’m so glad he corrected my misconception and saved us extra time and hassle. I will definitely continue to seek his advice regarding my son’s allergy in the future. I strongly recommend him to anyone who needs an allergist!

Kinda wish I could give Dr. Min 10 stars, but alas not an option. After struggling with random allergies for most of my adult life, I decided to actually see someone about it. I am so glad I finally did and that I saw Dr. Min. During our consultation, he was so patient and detail-​oriented. I asked so many questions, probably more than most patients, because I am a bit OCD about this kind of stuff, and he took the time to answer each one in great detail. He also helped diagnose me with exercise induced urticaria and provided me with several options to address my facial hives. A couple weeks later, he also called me to see how I was doing, which was super sweet and thoughtful of him. I think it really shows how much he genuinely cares about his patients. Great allergist, highly recommended!

I am very, very new to this neighborhood, and am SO fortunate that I found Dr. Min. I just moved to the Monterey Hills neighborhood with my wife, and I started experiencing symptoms like sneezing and itchy, runny nose. In addition, my asthma was starting to act up.
First thing to note is that Dr. Min has incredible bedside manner. He really made me feel very comfortable and was very patient with my many questions. He explained a lot of things that I hadn’t previously been aware of. I had never known that a humidifier can actually make your dust mite allergies WORSE!
He performed an environmental allergy panel and explained some helpful ways that I could treat and avoid future allergic reactions. Among other things, he showed me how to properly use my nasal spray (I’d always been doing it wrong!) and how important it really was to use it regularly.
For my asthma, since I was only having wheezing when I exercised, he advised me to just use my albuterol before I exercised, and it’s helped so much. Dr. Min explained how getting my allergies under control could really help my asthma as well.
Most importantly, he actually called me weeks later to follow up to see how I was doing! That really meant a lot to me.
Months later, I can say that I am no longer struggling with the same symptoms. My days go by without headaches or stuffiness, and it is nice to be able to enjoy the Monterey Hills neighborhood for what it is.
If you have problems with allergies or asthma, you MUST go see Dr. Min!!!

As I’m sure any first time parent would, I literally FREAKED OUT the first time I saw blood in my baby’s stool. Thankfully, Dr. Min came to the rescue! Dr. Min diagnosed the condition as a food allergy — apparently, babies can be allergic to what breastfeeding mothers eat — and that milk and/​or soy were most likely the culprits. He calmly explained that it was not uncommon to find blood in baby’s stool and even pointed me to some scientific papers about the condition (since I am a neurotic and nerdy mother). And after I told him I wanted to try to continue breastfeeding given all the benefits, he recommended that I cut out milk and soy from my diet for a while and see if there were any positive changes. He also took the time to share with me that a lot of babies tend to outgrow these allergies as their digestive system continues to develop. Well after 2 weeks, the blood in my baby’s stool went away! Yes, it sucked to have to skip milk and soy for a while, but my baby eventually outgrew her allergy and I was back on ice cream, chocolate milk and soy sauce in a month.
So, in case you couldn’t tell already, Dr. Min is an awesome doctor! He has a caring and professional demeanor. He takes the time to explain your condition, what your options are, as well as to listen to you and your concerns. I never felt rushed when I saw him. He also followed up with me after my visit by phone — I mean, how nice is it to get a call from your doctor shortly after your visit versus you having to call the doctor’s office when you have more problems? Also, he is up to date on the latest medical research. If you need an awesome allergist, go to Dr. Min!
