SERVPRO of Alhambra

We recently had a serious problem with mold due to plumbing leaks in two locations in our house, and we were very concerned about how to determine safely what the details were regarding the situation, and then proceed with mitigation. My wife did some calling around, and luckily she found Mike Kovar and Servpro of Alhambra. We were VERY pleased with Mike from the first time we met him. He is very knowledgeable and responsible about these matters, and took a lot of time to talk with us about how he would proceed to isolate the areas of concern, remove walls as necessary, and safely removing any mold and the remnants of the mold very thoroughly. Mike was always available for phone calls, even during weekends while I was still just trying to understand better what his plan was, and why he wanted to proceed in a certain way (I ask a lot of questions, and he was very patient with me). He and his team always arrived at our home exactly on time, fully prepared to go to work. They worked quickly, and actually finished the job early. After they finished, an independent analyst came to run quantitative tests on our air and to examine the cleaning that had been done, and he reported that Mike’s team had thoroughly cleaned up the two areas. The bottom line is that Mike did an excellent job, he did everything on time, he is patient with lots of questions, and his cost was quite reasonable, based on the other bids we received. Go to Mike Kovar, and he will take good care of you.

Can’t say enough about these guys! We had a leak that caused the ceiling in our family room to crack. To be safe we asked Mike at Servpro to check for mold. Sure enough, we had mold. Mike and his guys immediately got to work sealing off the room to contain. Then they removed the mold, dried out the ceiling and cleaned everything up! They went above and beyond. I recommend Mike at servpro to everyone I know and can whole-​heartedly say that anyone who has a problem that needs restoration should call Mike immediately.

Wow… two weeks ago I had a big flood in my house. This had never happened before and we have owned for 10 years. We contacted ServPro of Alhambra not really understanding exactly what was involved in sanitizing and drying out the areas affected. Mike the owner came out the next day and was very friendly and professional. He took the time to explain exactly what he would be doing. He even went around the damaged area with me with his water detector meter and showed me all of the areas of water damage. They quickly got to work dehumidifying the area and drying it out with the large fans. They cleaned up all of the demo scraps and left our house looking spotless. They closed off all of the areas in which they were working so we didn’t notice or smell any dust or debris. My husband and I were really impressed with there work ethic, cleanliness and professionalism. We highly recommend using ServPro of Alhambra.
