Established in 2013.

Popular Demand Barbershop opened its doors in January of 2013 with only two barbers. Since then we’ve grown to a staff of 6 full-​time barbers, catering to a wide assortment of styles and cuts to fit any lifestyle.

Josh is young entrepreneur filled with passion and great ambition. He saw an opportunity to create a vibrant experience where young adults can come and get their hair cuts by people that looked like them, dressed like them, and embraced the same culture.

Omar is the man! I came in during a last minute emergency and he nailed my combover better then my go to barber! I’m pretty picky about my hair, but this man definitely knows what he’s doing.
I also appreciated how friendly and inviting he was. The entire time he carried great convo and made sure I got exactly what I came for. Really happy I payed this shop a visit, I’ll definitely be back

I am usually very skeptical when it comes to trying out a new barber. Great barbers are hard to come across, hence why I had to take the time to acknowledge how dope Popular Demand is. Not only do they have some amazing barbers like Cris (gave me the freshest taper and has a cool name), but they also have a really great ambiance. The place has TV’s everywhere, great music on all the time, and the energy is always up. I HIGHLY recommend you scheduling a cut if you’re in the market for a new barber!

Honestly, the best barbershop I’ve been to– hands down. Every single barber in there is skilled, the décor isn’t overly gimmicky, and the environment is clean and relaxing. They have multiple flat-​screens with movies and sports on, so it feels like home. You actually don’t mind the wait (if there happens to be one) and for the quality of the cut, it’s worth it.
Another cool thing is that you can book appointments online (if you choose), which is different but I’ve been finding it VERY convenient because you can see each barber’s availability and choose the one you want without the wait time. I usually book Omar because he got me abnormally fresh for NYE. Haha.

Overall, 5 stars. I don’t recommend very many things but finding a good barber wasn’t easy, moving from Detroit, so I definitely appreciate this find. You’ll love it as much as I do.

Nothing like going to a great barbershop where you can sit back, relax, and trust that your barber knows what he’s doing. I miss that feeling! Omar, you guys need to hurry up and come to the east coast, we need you man! These guys are the best, highly recommend them!

This shop definitely knows what they’re doing. Starting of course with some talented barbers, they also have a really convenient online booking system that makes waiting for cuts a thing of the past. Highly recommend it. They also have a really cool rewards program giving clients a free cut when they come in for 10 cuts, I’ve never seen a shop do anything like that. Super impressed by this place, they get my vote!

Stopped by with a friend to get his mop chopped, had to give these guys a shout out! What a really cool and modern shop. We came in for an appointment with Cris, he was really friendly and inviting. He gave my friend advice on his cut and we left super impressed by the entire experience. If I was a guy, I’d definitely be getting my cut here, check these guys out!

This online appointment system is the TRUTH! Actually, this barbershop over all really knows what they’re doing. I’ve never been to a shop so organized and efficient with their team. I really appreciate how friendly and committed these guys are to their craft as well, you can tell they care about every customer that comes in the door. Definitely coming back

I found out about these guys on Unilocal and the reviews don’t lie! I booked my appointment online and waited no more then 5 minutes. I wasn’t really sure what I wanted but Kevin walked me through it and hooked me up with a great looking cut. Looking forward to my next one, I’m so glad to have finally found a place with such a relaxed atmosphere and talented, friendly guys behind the scissors. Very cool and modern shop, highly recommend this place. Check it out.

I really can’t say enough good things about this place. Everything from the online booking system (i.e. virtually zero wait time), the comfortable chairs, and the haircut itself was an incredible experience. I had Chris give me a fresh cut and line up and it was so clean I don’t think I can go anywhere else ever again.
On top of all of that, the price point was incredibly reasonable. My hair grows fast (I try to get it cut every 2 weeks or so) so I’m really sensitive to how much I’m paying every time I go to the shop. I know I won’t have to worry about that with these guys.
Seriously, go check this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

This place deserves 6 stars in my book, great barbershop experience overall! Their online booking system is amazing, I can’t remember the last time I went to a shop and didn’t have to wait! The little time I did spend their they had comfortable seating, plenty of TV’s playing, music was on setting the vibe, and the barbers… don’t get me started! Every cut I saw coming out of each chair was on point! Shout out to Omar for hooking me up that killer fade! I’ll definitely be back, don’t sleep on this place!

Wow, I can’t say enough about Omar and the incredible haircut he gave me on short notice. I was so busy before I had a work event to attend that I forgot to schedule an appointment, but Omar hooked it up right on time. He’s professional, personable and a helluva a barber. This shop has plenty of tv’s, so even if you have to wait, you’ll still keep up on all the sports action. I would highly recommend Omar to anyone looking for a home barbershop. Thanks Omar, I’ll be back soon.
