recently bought a 2016 r1200gsa from New Century and I had an AMAZING experience. Ive been to dealers where I feel like asking a question is bothersome to them, well not here! Tony Gigi Matt and Ryan all helped me with my pretty complicated situation with insurance on my old bike and made the buying experience painless. I even came to get my 600 mile service done spur of the moment and Ryan was able to fit me in so that my bike had a wrench to it within 10 minutes! Thanks New Century BMW!

In March 2016, I purchased a new-​to-​me 2013 BMW F800GS. Living about 275 miles one-​way from New Century and owning two businesses, it is never easy to get down to Southern California. The inspiration was that they had a hard-​to-​find, factory-​lowered 2013 F800GS.
I worked with Gigi, who waited patiently as I tried to get my business schedule arranged to take a few days off. When I finally got down there, I rode three bikes. Gigi said that there was no factory center stand for the factory lowered F800GS, but was sure I could get an aftermarket stand. The online manual stated that one was available, (but as I learned later, only for the stock bike). I said, «If I can get an aftermarket stand for this bike, I’ll take it. She brought up the SW Motech website, and appeared to be a center stand available. Since when is a center stand not available for a BMW dualsport? I bought the F800GS at a great price, paid cash. The sales transaction went smoothly and everyone was so nice. At the point, I would have given NCBMW a 5-​star review.
Next day, on my way out of town, I stopped at Ventura BMW on the odd chance that they might have the SW Motech stand as they are geared more to the Dualsport market and often carry aftermarket parts. Not only did they not have the stand, but told me that BMW did not recommend installing a stand (issues with the lowered bike suspension/​rebound riding aggressively in more challenging off-​pavement terrain). Further, no aftermarket stand was made for the bike.
Out on the road, center stands are super helpful tools to have in the garage or on the road. Thousands of miles away from anywhere, a center stand makes adjusting the slack in a chain possible and changing a tire a lot easier. The factory lowered F800GS is a special order item, so the market demand is low. Investing R&D money for few stands doesn’t make as much financial sense as just offering the bike without a center stand.
I called sales to report that there was no stand available for the bike, and that I wanted to return the bike. (Duh!) I didn’t realize that you can’t return a DMV registered vehicle like you can anything else. I was told that it would probably be impossible, but that I could talk with the sales manager, (who was spending most of the day with the BMW Regional Sales Rep). I waited about 4 – 5 hours for him to come back from lunch and asked him if we could speak, work something out. His tone became quite pointed, right out on the floor, so I asked if we could go into his office.
I know I’m small $$ potatoes compared to the rest of their customers, but a raised voice with a few insults thrown in was hardly behavior becoming a sales manager. Not sure a guy would have been treated in the same manner, but then a guy probably wouldn’t have tried to return a motorcycle because he couldn’t get a center stand for it, right? If I’d known more about my aftermarkets options including whether or not I could find a welder who could re-​machine a stock stand, I could have made a better informed decision. Once our communication back on track, Matt did try to help me get me into another bike, but for more than I was prepared to spend. That said, the rest of the staff was nice at New Century, from the parts to service departments, though I have to say, I didn’t feel very comfortable coming in on a subsequent visit to pick up ordered parts.
CUSTOM CENTER STAND
In the end, my own mechanic, who I discovered has a partner who does welding, was able to take the stock stand, cut it down and fit it to the bike. That said, NCBMW has good prices

Incredible experience. Just had my 24K service done on my ’11 s1000rr and don’t think it has ever run better. Spent 3 years getting terrible service at another BMW dealer closer to home. Well worth the 30 mile trip to New Century to get remarkable service.
Ryan was extremely courteous and was great at keeping me updated. Had an issue with sag on the front shocks. Cole worked with me for some time to properly calibrate to my weight.
Definitely the best option in SoCal. Will be going back for all future work on my current RR and will eventually pick up my next ride from New Century as well. Point of Sale is important but the ongoing and far more extensive relationship with service is crucial in deciding where to buy from.

Friendly service and nice facility. This place shares the same lot with New Century BMW Collision Center. They have complimentary coffee and occasionally donuts =)
I have been looking at their S1000RR to replace my Suzuki, but am still waiting for right time to make the deal. They were willing to allow me to test ride their bikes without hassle, unlike Yamaha with their R1.
Even though I don’t have a BMW yet, they allowed me to attend their customer appreciation track day at Willow Springs. I had a great time at the event and I will definitely be buying my next bike from this dealer.

On march 19^th I went in to the BMW dealer with my father and girlfriend looking for a r1200 gsa. I brought my FATHER along because I am a horrible negotiator ahahah.
Tony Tsai was the first person we ran into. Our main objective was to work with Matt Tooman is what we told Tony but Matt was busy with another customer. So in the meantime Tony asked me was type of bike i was looking for and after that to move on to checking the credit score. By the time we finished with Tony we had everything ready that Matt needed to work with me and my father.
We spent about 2 hours negotiating on the bike.
In that time Matt explained alot of options that were out there for me on the table. Even told us about nice option the Easy ride program I believe its called.
After a long process I walked out of the dealer with a 2016 r1200 gsa Red fully loaded.
Also wanted to add New Century BMW Motorcycle hospitality was great. Every employee encounter was greeted with a smile and a couple of jokes lol.

A truly superb dealership! I recently found myself in «need» of some OEM parts and mods for my R1200GS and popped in one Saturday and my experience from arriving at the shop to them finishing the work for me was nothing short of marvelous. I could NOT be happier with their entire team. New Century is easily the classiest, most knowledgeable, and helpful staff I’ve ever worked with.
I picked up some accessories for my GS and not only did they have it all in stock but were able to even squeeze me in on a busy Saturday to install the parts for me. I arrived and felt as if they shuffled some things around to get to work on my bike right away as they knew I had to simply wait around for it. That made me feel like some sort of VIP customer. When it was all said and done, they completed the work much quicker than I’d anticipated, did an expert job on the wiring, saving me hours upon hours vs doing it myself. Then, the service manager and another one of their associates actually bought me lunch while I waited for my bike to get finished! I ended up having a fun afternoon while my beloved GS was getting the 5 star treatment and I felt like I made some new buddies in the process. Rest assured, my next BMW WILL be purchased from New Century. A huge thank you to all of them for a truly wonderful experience!

I went in to check out the BMW 1000 gs adventure bikes and worked with Scott but at the time the dealership did not any bike in my price range.
Later, I took my 2009 Tuono to see if the dealership would be interested in making an offer. Tony and Matt took down the info and looked at it. They said the best they could offer, pending safety from the Mechanic, was $ 4K. They said that if I was to purchase one of their bike, they could offer $ 5K. I Told them I wasn’t ready to sell it for $ 4K now.
However, yesterday I found a used 2012 BMW GSA 1200 with 12K miles for $ 11K so I took my Tuono back hoping to sell for the $ 4K they had offered. Worked with Tony. This time he said I think we have to get your bike to the wholesaler. «What happened to the $ 4K offer pending safety?» I asked. He just said that we have to see what our wholesalers would offer. So after 1.5 hrs of my family and I waiting around, they came back and said their wholesaler was not interested in the bike.
I am not mad that I didn’t sell the bike but feel mad that they had roped me in and wasted our time.
Told the owner what happened. Said that I will be taking my 2012 BMW GSA 1200 out and go elsewhere for the $ 800 service on Monday morning. He said nothing but just walked away and closed the class door behind him.
This is weird. All seems to be nice folks with a huge BMW motorcycles and accessories inventory.

It’s long overdue that I leave a review for the excellent folks at New Century BMW. I’ve always had a good experience with them: Fair pricing, great attitude and excellent advice and service. They really understand their business and won’t be satisfied until they know that you are!
Matt helped me from step one before I even had my M license and I’ve been a faithful customer ever since!

I’ve purchased 2 bikes here. Both times I was in and out in less than 2 hours. I knew what I wanted so I didn’t waste their time and they didn’t waste mine. I can’t say enough about Ben, Tony and Matt. These guys are awesome and professional. Tony is the track and HP expert, Ben created the sales relationship from even before I bought any bike and Matt closed the deal like the Pro that he is. Want a BMW bike. Look no further. Go see them.

I would like to take the time to say thanks to the wonderful staff there. Every time I visit in greeted with a smile and a Hello. Ryan helps me with what ever parts or repair questions I may have, no matter how busy he is. I think that goes above and beyond what his job description is. Olga always helps me with gear advise and points me in the right direction. No question is to trival for her. Thanks again guys for going above and beyond the call of duty.

I have NOT used the shop yet. because of distance — (but contacted them because I DID get a good recommendation from another bike shop in the i. e).. I DID share with Jeff O on the phone (who called ME after I emailed the shop)… he invested some real time with me. he was helpful –respectful — and I was encouraged to consider them for doing business with in the future … might consign a 2005 K1200LT with only 23k miles with them — since J O lives in my general area and this might work? — this shop IS worth investigating for your needs — RIDE SAFE ;-)

As a person who likes her customer service, I believe in full disclosure and this review is based on one interaction on the telephone with Jason, who is in charge of sales.
I have been dreaming about getting a motorcycle for over 15 years and so I have a bit of product knowledge as well as read a lot. As I have just returned to California, I’ve decided that I would look into finally fulfilling this dream and shop around. After sending for a quote, I was contacted by Jason, who I was finally able to talk to today.
I have a gravelly voice so when he asked me what he could do for me, «sir», I quickly corrected him with «That’s ma’am.» He apologized and I asked him several questions. My original inquiry was in reference to the GS650 F, which I knew wasn’t a 2015 model and was upgraded to a GS700 F. So when I saw that was an option on the New Century website, I wanted to ask about that.
I asked about that and all he did reply was «I know it’s all very confusing.»
No, it is not. Explain why there is that mistake online (or if it is one).
I also know that the F series is better in terms of torque and a smoother ride. And I had also mentioned this before he went on to say that he would prefer me to come in to the store and get on the 700, which he claimed I would be happier with in the long run for the smoother ride, again calling me «sir.»
I called him out again and he apologized but this was getting rather tiring. Upon mentioning that I still had to get my licences, as I was recently back, he then mentioned that he was with another customer and sounded like he wanted to get rid of me as fast as possible.
I asked him to please remember that I am a woman to which he replied «I apologize twice.» I did not hear if he said «apologized» but if he did, that is not acceptable.
Regardless of which bike I do end up going with, I would like to mention that if Jason could not be troubled to remember basic factors about his customers, I will forget to consider giving him my business.

The customer service that I experienced at New Century BMW motorcycles was nothing less than 100% excellent.
Firstly, I live in Houston, TX.
I purchased an Akrapovic exhaust for my S1000RR, which failed to come with directions. I began a two hour inquisition to find help on the Internet. After I was unable to do so, I called BMW and got tossed around to several different departments. One of the customer service girls finally connected me to New Century. Here, Ryan the Service Manager was able to get me the instruction sheet that I could not even find online. I am not even a customer of New Century and was given amazing customer service. I wish the dealers in my area were more like Ryan from New Century. If I got this great if service from halfway across the country, then I can’t wait to walk in.

Let me start by saying that although I do read the Unilocal reviews when looking into an unfamiliar business, I’ve never actually written one. After buying a new G650GS Sertao at New Century BMW a few days ago, I had to let everyone know what a great experience I had.
Let me start by saying that everyone who works there is super friendly and it’s obvious they all have a passion for riding. I hope you don’t take yourself too seriously because they’re a fun bunch with a sense of humor I can relate to. There were two guys in particular who’s knowledge and customer service were outstanding. Jeff in sales and Matt in finance were awesome to deal with and just made the process so easy.
I won’t drag this out much longer but I wanted to end with this: on the ride home, I got a flat. Usually not a big deal but on Saturday evening of Memorial Day weekend, I was in a tight spot. Long story short, I finally got my bike home (I live in the San Jose) yesterday. Throughout the whole ordeal, Jeff made it a point to keep checking in on me to make sure I was ok and to try helping me in any way he could. He wasn’t even working on those days, just looking out for another biker. Really good guy.
I got the exact bike I wanted and cheaper than anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and check this place out before buying somewhere else, it’ll be worth it.

So I show up to New Century BMW Motorcycles for the first time and I’m quickly greeted by Jeff O. with a smile and enthusiasm. I had originally visited because I wanted to check out a BMW S1000RR that they had posted on their site. Unfortunately, the bike was sold just a day or two before I had arrived… bummer. Disappointed, I took a meander around… I spotted a comparable bike that but was sitting on the fence between deciding to purchase a brand-​new or used bike.
Jeff made the «mistake» of pretty much tossing me the keys to a new 2015 S1000RR to test ride. Suffice to say, I was floored by the performance. I brought it back, BS’d with Jeff for a little bit; and by the way, I never felt ANY pressure to make the purchase that day… in fact, Jeff pretty much said… come back and give it a try on a day you can hit more of the crest…
If that is no pressure sales, then I don’t know what is! I was floored by the bike, and again shocked at the sales team! Phenomenal.
These guys know what they’re doing. Ben, the sales manager did a wonderful job selling the positives of the bike (especially since he rides the S1000RR) and I can’t say how much I appreciate the straight HONESTY from both Jeff and Ben. Solid dudes.
In the end, I took home a used but pristine BMW S1000RR and was in a state of bliss the entire ride back home. I shall DEFINITELY be back here again to purchase my next bike… after I track out this naughty, naughty girl.

Best vehicle sales experience I’ve ever had. Jeff was fantastic — excellent product knowledge and was friendly and entertaining yet professional.
I knew what I wanted to pay before I arrived and they agreed instantly. They gave me a break on some add-​ons I wanted as well.
Ben the sales manager was terrific too — very accommodating and offered to meet me the next day when the dealer was to be closed so I could pick up my new bike. Best part: he didn’t give me a hard time when I got there and realized I’D LEFT THE KEY AT HOME… ugh. Matt in finance was great to deal with as well — offered add-​ons with no pressure and made the paperwork phase a breeze.
If you’re in the market for a BMW motorcycle I highly recommend New Century. They were a bit out of the way for me but I’m glad I made the trek. Great bunch of guys and I can’t wait to join one of their group rides.

I came in for the first service for my S1000RR. Ryan promised me a fair price and got me an appointment that perfectly fit my schedule. I have been a fan of this dealership since they organized a track day at the Streets of Willow raceway. They are very particular and neat about the service, they even informed me that the steering nut couldn’t be adjusted unless I relocated my GoPro mount. Other places would just skip that part and move on. Thumbs up!

Well, who would think a dealership would ever get 5 stars for a vehicle sale? I know, it’s hard to believe, but these guys were great! After several pleasant phone calls with Jeff, we were able to negotiate the price of a new motorcycle. I live in the Bay Area and chose to fly down to Los Angeles this morning to take ownership of my new ride. I read some of the other Unilocal reviews first and there are some pretty inflammatory remarks. I went in with eyes wide open!
First I met with Jeff, my sales contact, and then with Matt, the finance manager to complete payment and paperwork. Just a bunch of easy-​going folks who want to help get you on a motorcycle. Besides being knowledgeable about finances, I learned a lot about music, bikes and other subjects. It kinda felt like I was hanging out with some buddies.
I told them I needed to be on the road quickly to return to San Jose, and they made that possible. On the way out, the owner/​manager (Ben, I believe) made his way to check on me and made me feel very comfortable and special.
Not only was the experience awesome, I feel like I robbed this bike from them. I almost feel guilty for the deal they made me. It may be the first time I didn’t feel completely screwed over a vehicle purchase. The bike was filled with gas, not a half tank, the whole tank! It was spotlessly clean. Exactly what we had agreed to.
Feel comfortable working with them over the phone, feel comfortable flying in.
A pleasant connection at the end, with Jeff asking me to call him when I got home to make sure I did so safely.
I am an active Unilocaler, and don’t dish out 5 stars very often. I would fly down again, deal with all the congested Los Angeles traffic to have that kind of experience.

These people are liars.
I went on their website to look at a used BMW. Found one I liked at Alhambra BMW, I called and asked do you have this motorcycle and is this the correct price? He said yes, come on down and we can sell it to you.
I drove there and found the owner of the dealership no less to sell me the motorcycle, we looked at it, started it up and I said this is awesome let’s do a deal.
Then, and I can’t make this up, the owner of the dealership tells me that the price is too low and that it will cost me $ 1,000 more to buy it. Yep, he raised the price $ 1,000 more than what was printed on the sticker on the motorcycle.
Are you kidding me? What kind of a loser jacks the price up in the middle of a sale by $ 1,000? In 20 years of buying cars, motorcycles and mountain bikes I’ve never experienced such a jerk as this. Who in the world do you think you are? I even asked him, «Are you for real?» He was so rude it was despicable.
I wouldn’t buy a can of oil from this place. You go here and buy a motorcycle, a part, clothing or service, shame on you for supporting such a dishonest business.
