This was my first real experience with professional photography and I am so pleased to have shot with Alan. He was great to work with, very attentive, and made sure all angles were shot. I was expecting my photos to be returned back to me within a week but Alan was able to finish them in less than 12 hours! Not to mention, the photos came out amazing– super high quality and meticulously edited. As a college student on a college budget, I would say that his prices were VERY REASONABLE for the quality of pics he provides. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience and have already referred a handful of my friends and family!

Let’s put it this way: I’m not photogenic but thank goodness, these are the best photos I’ve taken in a long time. I finally have professional photos I’m proud to put on my work website, LinkedIn, Facebook, Skype, publications, basically anything public and professional.
In addition, I can’t praise Alan enough for being so friendly, down-​to-​earth and generous with his time. He actually gave me several hundred photos to choose from and though I went over my quota of 30 selected, he graciously offered to fix them all for me. And let me tell you, the price was amazingly reasonable. I did not comparison shop for professional headshot studios, but I’ve done other personal photo shoots before and I really can’t imagine something that looks this good being any cheaper.
I found him through his stellar reviews on Unilocal and was not disappointed. I was so thrilled with his work that even though he’s about an hour away from where we were located, I pushed my husband to get his done for his business school and work-​related photos. He was also so impressed that he also uses his shots everywhere (but does not have a Unilocal account to add to Alan’s many stars, although it doesn’t look like he needs it!) Thanks so much Alan! If I ever return to LA and need to update my pics, I hope you’re still around.

Alan really understands how to project the best with his camera.
He is attentive and understands clients needs and does not overcharge as he does spend a considerable amount of time picking the best shots.
He gave me more edited photos than I really needed thats how good of a deal it is!

I had the pleasure of working with Alan for some professional headshots. He was friendly, funny, and made the experience a very enjoyable one. The majority of the session was shot outside, and the afternoon sun made for some great shots! His rate is reasonable – he lets you select as many pictures as you like and also edits them for you.

Alan is a wonderful guy to work with. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire shoot. He knows what he’s doing and is very responsive.

I honestly did not think I could look any better than I already do, but Alan somehow worked his magic and made me look even better!
All joking aside, this was my first time being the main (and only) subject in any photoshoot, and I can tell you that Alan made everything very easy from A to Z.
For the price paid (and it was VERY cheap compared to any other studio my family has been to before) I got over an hr in front of the camera and at multiple locations. Alan was hilarious and professional and offered water throughout the shoot.
Once we were done I was told that I would have the pictures most likely by Saturday morning (our session was Thursday afternoon) but it was only been a little over 24hrs since he uploaded the pictures to his computer and he has already sent me the pictures of the one I chose.

I needed to get new headshots because the photographer I had used before didn’t do that well of a job. He charged me around $ 400 and the headshots didn’t come out to my liking. So this time around, I didn’t want to make the same mistakes again. I decided to go with Alan because of the positive reviews and how well his pictures came out. Also, the price can’t be beaten. He took his time during my session and he let me pick about 30 pictures to be retouched. The pictures came out great, better than I have expected. Alan is the person to go to if you want quality headshots at a very decent price.

After reading several Unilocal reviews about photographers for headshots in my area I decided to go with Alan and I definitely do not regret it. I really liked his sample work and I was hoping he could produce the same for me. He delivered with flying colors! The appointment setup was painless. The shoot took about an hour and he made me feel comfortable and confident that I would get the best quality photos I could.
The reason I decided to go with Headshots Plus is because the price point and the quality of work seemed to be more than reasonable. I even tipped him an extra 20 dollars because I was so pleased with the process. Other photographers were charging 50% to 100% more.
After the shoot he let me choose a bunch of photos that I really liked and he told me he would touch them up so that they would look perfect. He had them ready for me in less than 24 hours and I must say I was thoroughly impressed! I am very pleased with the whole experience and I would highly recommend Alan to anyone looking to get QUALITY headshots at a VERY REASONABLE print point.

Alan was great! Very patient and fun. Love my headshots! Needed them for work and he did an awesome job! I will definitely be back. Got a lot of compliments on my pictures from my coworkers. Pics came out very professional with a natural look. Not your standard boring studio pics with fake smiles. He got the pictures ready next day. Contemporary executive headshots are now taken outdoors with the background blurred. That’s what I wanted and Alan was able to deliver. Thank you Alan. I am very happy with how the pics came out!

Where do I start. Alan is an incredibly talented photographer, I’m so happy that I found him. Setting up the appointment went extremely smooth and when I got there, after talking with him the first 10 minutes, he made me feel like I’ve known him for years. That’s how comfortable he makes you feel!
The photo session went amazing and outcome of the photos that I liked were way more than I ever could imagined so I’m super stoked about my new headshots. He Chose the once that he liked which he also retouched and he also retouched the once that I liked… amazing! I mean, what more could you ask for?! Turnaround was incredibly fast. I had my headshots on my computer the same day, and the retouched photos the following day.

I was looking for some photos to update my online professional profiles. Many of the places I looked at were either way out of my price range or didn’t look at all professional. I found Alan through this Unilocal page and setup an appointment. Scheduling was easy and he was able to accommodate a last minute change to my schedule. We did a 1 hour session and got some great shots. I had the re-​touched photos back the next day and picked out 5 additional that got even more polish. This was a great experience and I ended up with exactly what I was looking for, some simple head shots to bring out my professional self.

I’m so happy with the work that Alan has produced. He works very quickly with natural lighting and really does a great job at a reasonable rate. He shoots for about an hour and almost the very next day you have your edited photos. I’m very happy with his work.

Very glad I found Alan to do my headshot. He got the job done in under an hour but never felt like he was rushing. My mom and toddler came along and he was patient with them and even threw in a few shots of us. He was easy to communicate with via text, his price was reasonable, and was quick to send photos. Where do i begin. Just about two weeks ago i went on line looking for a photographer who can take some head shots of me as soon as possible. Sure enough i found Alan, and thank goodness i did he was amazing, kind and extremely helpful. Went in to see him on a Sunday Morning and received my beautiful edited headshots by Monday afternoon.
