Granada Elementary School

The school is ok. I like the new principal. The teachers do their best. Some are good, some are ok. The ASES program after school is pretty good. Options is very limited and is not that great in my opinion. My child has a lot of friends here, but there is a lot of pettiness between the kids unfortunately. The teachers have a difficult time sometimes sorting out the true problem children. I have to mention one of the front office clerical staff. You will know who she is if you ever have spoken to her. She is so unbelievably rude almost every single time most people have to deal with her. She is abrupt, ignorant, harsh, unkind, unprofessional, and just plain mean. Talking to her always ruins my day. However, the other clerical person at the front desk is completely opposite of the first one I mention. Se is kind, respectful, professional and humane. The front office people are vital, and represent the school as a whole.

It’s a good school.
