Business Owner

For owner and founder Francisco J. Garcia, FJ Engineering + Design is more than a business: it is a commitment to providing a quality product through innovation supported by years of experience. With an extensive, hands-​on curriculum at California State University Los Angeles, Garcia developed an effective yet unique engineering perspective based on real-​life applications.

First-​hand work experience allowed Garcia to develop the personal know-​how and models to successfully open his own business. Francisco’s knack for attention to detail has been the pillar of his business approach. With the philosophy of getting things done right the first time, Garcia prides himself in addressing issues and concerns before they become problems and setbacks.

Despite his busy work schedule, Garcia remains active with student chapters in the UC and Cal State system and served on the Board of the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California.
