Very disappointing. Walked into the store and the employees had difficultly understanding my simple English questions. So much so that I just walked out of the store to avoid the awkward lack of communication. Only come here if you speak Chinese and have a lot of patience/​time.

I’ve seen plenty of good reviews about this place and I can see why their work is really good I’ve had a total of 3 frames done at this location but their customer service is not good in my books, at all!
First time I came I want two different frames done, the owner told me it would be ready by Thursday but I told him it’s OK I’ll come on Friday. When I showed up 4 days later he told me it wasn’t ready in fact the frame wasn’t even started (he showed me) he apologized and told me he would finish the job himself and he did but it was late and I had to do two trips, I found it very inconvenient but I just wanted my frames done, he charged me $ 175 and didn’t offer me any sort of discount for the inconvenience.
I came back a second time with one frame this time about a month later because I didn’t want to make a judgment on one visit alone so I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and again he said it will be ready on Friday but I told him I’ll be busy please make it available for Monday, he agreed and he said the job would cost $ 55. When I came back that following Monday the frame again was not stated at all! He said that his employee had an emergency and I told him that this was the second time it has happened the said he knows and sincerely apologize but I was good enough for me because he delayed the job another day, on the following day he called he saying the frame was done and I could pick it up at anytime when I showed up at 2:10 there was a sign on the door saying they will return at 2:00pm and i waited outside for about an hour, now I’m thinking he might be don’t this on purpose or he just doesn’t care about his customer once I receive my new frame and pay I will never come back again nor will I recommend this place to my business any longer. FYI he didn’t offer a discount for the inconvenience again!
If your looking for a place to get your job done quick and right the first time as promised don’t come here.

I needed glass for a framed picture and the frame backing fixed. The job was done quickly — and while I was there! Excellent quality work, very reasonable price, friendly owner, lots of street parking. Such a difference from a large, chain frame store. Check it out!

This shop used to be in south Pasadena but the owner told me the rent increased a lot so now at this location. Its a bit inconspicuous so don’t blink or you might drive past it on Valley. Easy street parking.
I walked in and greeted immediately and wasn’t pressured at all. Quick discussion about what I wanted framed and he was off grabbing samples from all different walls. The owner provided honest opinions and recommended against some of the frames I had picked out (good call on his part!). The turn-​around was only a few days and cost were cheaper here than other places I shopped around at. So far my diploma has been hanging on the wall and I think it looks great! As a bonus, he included UV glass with the price, which was an add on feature ($) at other framing spots.
There were about 3 other friendly ppl customers, who all seemed to have been long life patrons there. One gave him a signed copy of their book. One was explaining to me how they met in Thailand and have become great friends ever since. All this was done around the round table in the middle of the office, almost like a barber shop atmosphere… just a nice local owned business with a great, reasonable priced service!

I have been a customer for over 10 years. I drive from North Hollywood, because I wouldn’t trust anyone but Manis to frame my artwork. Is it possible to be in love with your framer — I think so!

Good quality work and nice service. A little overpriced for custom jobs though. Street parking is ample. Call in a few days to see if your frame is ready though. They’re a little slow to call you…
