I had a great experience with ACS! Ben is very professional and friendly and his tech team is fast and efficient. Turn over time was quick, they were able to diagnose and fix the issue by the next day. What normally would have been very pricey and taken several business days to repair took only a day and at a very reasonable price.

I brought my laptop here to see what’s wrong with it and Ben was able to schedule me in on the same day. He provides excellent service and has a wealth full of knowledge. Great personality and fun to talk to.

My Lenovo was running extremely slowly and also seemed to be overheating. I took it in and the guys explained that it would be best to upgrade by obtaining additional memory. It was 5 years old so I was ecstatic that they didn’t just try talking me into purchasing a new one. In the process they also put on Windows 10, and an anti-​virus system. I am sooo happy with my «new» system now.

My wife spilled coffee on her laptop, and it would not recognize the C-​drive. Tried to restore but that failed. I found Alhambra Computer Services on Google, looked at the ratings and thought it was too good to be true. In a short time Benjamin diagnosed the problem as a short in the hard drive, but the Bios and memory seemed to be fine! He installed a clean, «used» hard drive, and basic software. My wife uses the computer basically for e-​mail, basic word processing, and on-​line shopping. The computer has been work fine, (actually better) than before the spill. We were delighted with the repair, the price, and the turnaround!

I previously used a local computer repair shop on my desktop but they did not fix the problem. More urgent was my almost new laptop that had some boot up issues. So, I definitely wanted to find the best repair shop around to take care of my computer problems. I turned to Unilocal and found Alhambra Computer Services based on ratings. I can honestly say the positive ratings are true and I am so pleased to have found this computer service. When I dropped off my computers, I met the owner Ben who was very friendly and sincere. Ben constantly kept me updated on his progress, possible issues and costs with text messages and phone calls. His prices are fair and he always tried to find ways to save money for me. My computers are now running great! I will turn to Alhambra Computer Services for all my computer service needs from now on.

Had a computer problem and brought it in to Ben. He is a hard worker and kept me up to date on the whole process. Fixed the computer issue in a timely manner too! If I run into more computer problems, I’m definitely coming back.

I discovered Ben and his services last month when my favorite laptop in the world and only computer broke down. Like most people, that’s a cause for serious panic. I have an HP that’s only 3 years old yet it was making lots of strange noises recently. One night it was working fine but come the morning it was completely dead and would not boot up. I called HP, who was nice enough to help but it would require me to send my laptop in for nearly 2 weeks. That was much too long for me to be without my laptop, as most of my life and work revolves around it. Not to mention the cost of repair would be roughly $ 400, half the price of a brand new laptop. In desperation to fix my laptop, I got on Unilocal and found Ben. I gave him a call and we had an in depth conversation about my computer problems. Then I showed up at his business and we continued that conversation. We decided on the most conservative and cost effective plan of action for me. Over the next few days Ben was very communicative and communicated with me via text to alert me of my PC status. Less than a week later my PC was ready for pick up and the total cost for an diagnostic and repair was $ 200. It turned out something was faulty on my motherboard and his technician was able to fix that for me, as well as give me a complimentary fan cleaning and removed my explosive battery. I really appreciated how communicative Ben was. It made me feel comfortable since I am used to mostly doing business with large corporations /​stores. Ben even made recommendations and suggestions on how I could preserve the life of my PC. He didn’t try to hard sell me anything which I really appreciated. And, he talked to me and consulted me as if I was a friend dealing with a pc problem. Ben provides good customer service as well as good repair service and I would go to Ben again should another pc problem arise. I recommend Ben for any PC repair problems. I had a very good first time experience.

Around Oct. 2015 I see the owner of ACS replied my 2 yrs old complaint with an automatic respond. He did the same thing to 90% of all other complaints around 2013 or later. so I said to myself: wow, a respond 2 yrs later! that really says something… I figure the time stamp of the automatic message will speak for itself and wasn’t going to do anything.
On 12÷6÷15 I found the owner of ACS changed his respond to a more specific but very manipulating answer. so in rage I did an update, hoping to shade some light to any Unilocal uses looking for IT help. After all, that’s how I found him in the first place, and how I fall into a trap in the first place.
After my update I went back to his Unilocal page just to see what’s going on with other people, and found all those negative reviews are gone! ALL GONE! He already made me feel creepy and scary back then and it’s like even more scary and creepy now!
After a good sleep I decided to post some questions instead to share my story. Maybe I was being paranoid but I did received quite a few weird, such as no-​one-​speaks and hang up phone calls in random hours last two months, and my computer is being a little weird too. This is why I kept my initial review short because in our last meeting, he did pose a threatening attitude which made me feel that if I don’t give him what he want, he could use his computer skill to ruin my life. But I do feel cheated by the Unilocal rating and want to warn others who actually trusts Unilocal rating so I posted a brief warning in 2013.
Here are some questions to think about:
If indeed he had his business for 7 yrs or more, how can he only have less then 100 reviews? why is he so fixated on– and only allowing good reviews? I mean, if a complaint was resolved normally, all you need to do is re-​post. Why all those below-​3-​starts review were deleted instead? And all of them! This the most creepy part to me! what happen to those people and why do they behave like that? If his business is so good, why not rent a regular office space? how did he even get the «award»? looking to the users who posted comment. Do a little research. But the easiest way, like I said, go to big company. At least you’ll have a peace in mind, knowing they won’t up the pricing at the last minutes and won’t abuse your with their IT skill/​knowledge because big company normally have some good policies and good ethical standard.
One last fact: He upped his price upon pick up which means the price he told me over phone the day before was just to lure me in. his «business» is in a residential area and no one is around. He only meet with me after 5 PM. And I just don’t feel safe when it’s getting darker and no one is around. I basically paid for an empty promise to get out of there — if the same thing happens again within 30 days he will install an operating system at additional charge (Lenux, I think). Anyhow, it’s in the past. This person is very manipulating. Didn’t go back & won’t come back again.

I had recently (at the time I’m writing this review,) purchased separate computer components to build my very own gaming PC. All the pieces were finally in my possession and I followed every step on an online build tutorial for the computer. At home it wouldn’t turn on and I was terribly afraid of something I had done or faulty parts.
First thing I do after it wouldn’t turn on at home I looked up Ben and his magnificent home business and thought «this man surely would know what my issue is». Sure enough I make an appointment, arrive at his destination and he helps me with my PC dilemma and it had turned out that I was not turning the pc on correctly –_​–
He helped me connect a few wires that were hard to get to and everything works great now. I highly recommend Benjamin Orozco for any computer needs he definitely knows what he is doing when it comes to computers.

Came here couple minutes ago and now home using my computer posting this review lol. First time here, and for sure my new computer specialist. Highly recommend Alhambra Computer Services for your computer repairs. Hopefully won’t need to come back but when the time comes, will be back. Thanks Ben.

After building my desktop PC a year ago, I recently had an issue of my monitor being unable to display anything from my computer. I determined that there was a motherboard issue and had it replaced, only to find that I still had a display problem. After nearly tearing my hair out in frustration (as this is my only desktop pc and I had no spare parts to test with my set up), I discovered ACS through Unilocal.Ben was very courteous and even arranged for me to meet him the same day (Sunday) in the afternoon.
Since he knew I had done some troubleshooting myself, he knocked off $ 15 from the original $ 45 diagnostic fee and said that I did not have to pay until he had figured out the problem. Three days later, I get a text from him that told me the only problem was my monitor and not only could I pick up my PC that night, but that I also didn’t need to pay anything since there was nothing to fix!
Overall, excellent service and I highly recommend Ben to anyone who needs to fix their computer. I know if I have any other issues, he’ll be the first person I call.

We discovered ACS and never looked back. My beloved and myself both work where we have access to high end computer service companies. Once we decided to try Benjamin, we have not even considered another comp repair service. He delivers far better one on one care and customer service than any box chain electronics retailer can offer. Plus he is completely informative and very forthright and honest about the issues and costs up front.

I would highly recommend Alhambra Computer Services! My external hard drive wasn’t able to be fixed, but Ben was so great to work with. He explained everything about the service upfront and what I should expect and then what do to if he was not able to fix the problem. He offered great customer service and I will definitely keep ACS in mind for future computer repairs that I need.

Ben is really awesome, had my desktop brought in to get checked on and for a long due cleaning. Ben did a great job to make sure all the parts are in tip top shape and cleaned. I live in San Diego for most of the time and had to leave my computer at his place for few weeks and Ben was very easy going and let me stored it at his place until I was able to come back. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would come back again.

Fast, efficient, professional computer repair. I had a laptop that wouldn’t turn on. I went to another repair guy whose name I will not mention – let’s just say, he’s a guy nearby who also has stellar reviews – and he took one look at it and said he couldn’t fix it.
Then i went to Benjamin at Alhambra Computer Services, and he actually sent photos of the issue to his technician. He came back with a very doable price, and I dropped off the laptop and one day later, it was fixed. Benjamin even put in some screws that I had lost when I’d stupidly opened the laptop myself.
I wholeheartedly recommend this guy.

Ben did an amazing job of fixing my broken MAC Air screen. I had dropped it and the screen had an internal crack. Ben was very thorough as to what the fix would entail. I brought my laptop in and one day later my laptop like new again!

I gave an honest review of experience at your shop. Since then I have been slammed with requests to remove it. Insinuations that I work for his competition and I should be ashamed because. I’m trying to ruin his good name. His «analysis» of my other reviews indicate that I have unrealistic expeditions. Well how dare you bash my character from my reviews. I write my review through my experience and interaction with you. How dare you think you know me by reading my reviews. For your information I have a wealth of positive, average, and negative reviews as I see fit. I’m not trying to disparage you when I place you in the latter category I just think you deserved it.
Well to clarify: I wrote my review based on my experience. I have no desire to remove my review because this is a personal opinion. I see you have plenty of great reviews and I’m happy for you but my experience is different and is just as important as any of theirs.
Do not flame me on your page or in comments because attempts at shaming just make you look like a tiny insecure outfit obsessed with control of an outlet that you don’t own.
I strongly suggest you chill. Instead of bashing me seek ways you can make improvements to your business model, if not, do whatever you want but leave me alone.
