Sephora Inside JCPenney

terrible service. as i wanted to return an item a girl was on her phone the whole time even when i was talking to her. i guess it was more important to her to finish a text than to return my item. she then began to tell me that she couldnt return the item without a reciept even though it was in my vib card. other sephora still returned merchandise with the vib card. i began telling her how much my felt tip eyeliner would be if i got store credit for it she told me $ 7. i remember paying $ 17, i checked online and it was worth $ 14! i began to ask her for a good eyeliner, and she pointed to me where it was. she was at the cashier the whole time and didnt bother to care who needed help or not, she was texting the whole time or talking to the lther employees. i began to ask her for her name and she told me how she couldnt give it out! i didnt see a name tag on her or anything. she has long blonde hair! if i could rate this no stars i would.

This Sephora is pretty decent. It’s small, like you would expect a Sephora inside a JCPenney to be, but it carries a pretty nice selection of brands. There is NARS, Urban Decay, MAKEUPFOREVER, Kat Von D, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Buxom, Tarte, Too Faced, etc. Brands they do not carry are the higher end brands like Dior, YSL, Marc Jacobs, etc.
They have a good selection of skincare and carry a lot of the main brands.
The women’s fragrance selection is extremely small and limited, though. You might be better off going to the ULTA heading South on Randall road. The men’s fragrance selection is equally small, but carries most of the main brands (sans Chanel).
I found the staff to be very helpful each time I’ve visited, but have never been offered samples in my bag even after very large purchases.
I don’t know how often this Sephora restocks, but a lot of the popular products (certain colors, etc) tend to be out of stock. I have also purchased a face cream from Korres that was actually separating and smelled old, so I’m not sure if their store is busy enough where the product moves fast enough (unless it’s an item that’s really popular). But I might have just had bad luck on that purchase.
Overall though, this Sephora is okay and worth stopping in if you need something from any of the brands stocked. If you want to view a bigger selection, stop at the Geneva or Woodfield Sephora.
