The rich history of public and legal service began with Joseph H. McKoan Jr. serving as Village of Algonac Mayor and Village Attorney; Joseph H. McKoan III served the Village of Algonac as its Attorney and further served as Clay Township Supervisor for (5) consecutive terms. I have also served as Clay Township Supervisor, being the youngest Supervisor elected to the Township.

A Graduate of University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1996. Joseph McKoan IV, returned to his community where he grew up in order to give back to the area which has been so good to him. With an specific understanding that experiences enhance one’s ability to serve, Mr. McKoan uses his experiences and legal knowledge to effectuate resourceful and conscientious legal representation to that of his clients. Mr. McKoan’s ability to combine his vast legal knowledge with practical experience results in invaluable service to his clients.
