Whitestone Landmark

I’ve been a resident at Whitestone almost a year now and although I have no other properties to compare it to (This is my first apartment since moving to Northern, VA) I can honestly say that the everyone here has been nothing but friendly and helpful. The whole staff from the front office to the maintenance crew has been extremely helpful and most of all timely with all request.
Just to name a few pros:
The building is always warm, clean and smelling nice.
The elevators for the most part are always running (Only when someone is moving in it may take a bit more time as there are only two elevators)
Everyone I have encountered since living here are friendly

Staff:
Cat, Kelly and there is a guy that works in the office are all very courteous and competent. I can say that Kelly and Cat will go out of their way to resolve any issues you may have. The office staff is very personable and reliable.
Apartment:
I’ve only had one issue with my floor when I moved in and they fixed it promptly. My cabinets and fixtures are modern and appliances are up to date. Rarely do I ever need to call maintenance for anything. My apartment is great and as my family will possibly be growing I will find it very difficult to give this apartment up. Hopefully, there will be a two bedroom similar to this unit available. I’m not sure if there are no kids in the building or I just don’t hear them. This is the first place i have ever lived in which i don’t see or hear kids, my neighbors conversations etc The building is very quiet. Lobby doors are quite heavy and loud.
Parking:
The one thing I was skeptical about as I read comments before moving in about vandalism but I have never seen or heard of anyone’s car being vandalized. There’s also police on site which probably deters any suspicious activity. I wish we had designated parking spots but hey you can’t the cake and ice cream all the time.
