Untangled Events

Honestly, hiring Alicia as a wedding planner was probably the best wedding decision we made. We decided to get married about two hours away from where we live and having Untangled Events to organize vendors, look over contracts, confirm the tiniest little details (like how many glasses are needed for a full bar and 210 people), do venue set up, day of organizing, and clean up made wedding planning totally enjoyable and stress free for us.
It was an amazing day and most importantly I didn’t worry about details being organized, vendors showing up, or things not being in place. Everything ran perfectly smoothly from my perspective, which I know Alicia must have worked insanely hard to ensure that I felt that way. That is what makes her absolutely priceless. It was also so helpful that Alicia was so calm throughout the process. Her calmness helped reinforce that she had taken care of everything. Which she had! It was great that Alicia was so on top of things: she anticipated what we would need, often, before we even knew we needed it!
During the planning process, Alicia was in contact with me any time I needed it. She really went above and beyond, responding to all my book-​length emails so quickly and in detail. Alicia also really heard and understood all the little details of our wedding that we wanted, from decorations and cake toppers, no detail was too small, she really got the image of what we wanted our wedding to be and made it happen (and more!).
As another note, our 210 guests were blown away by our wedding. I received so many compliments on how smoothly the event ran, on the quality of the vendors (like food) Alicia helped us to select, and the overall aesthetic Alicia developed. Hands down everyone said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and that I owe entirely to Untangled Events.
Alicia also planned my beautiful rehearsal dinner/​cocktail party the evening before and again, I cannot stress how amazing it was to have someone else there to deal with it. It really allowed me to spend time with friends and family who’d travelled for the wedding and everything went off without even the smallest problem.
Seriously, I was kind of indifferent about the whole wedding planner thing and whether we should pay for one, but it was well worth the money. I could not have imagined my wedding without her. Absolutely recommend her. You will not regret it.
