The smoothies here are always great so this poor review is regarding the customer service. Twice when I came in my order was forgotten. I noticed that both times this happened it was when I paid cash so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it. The first time I waited over 20 mins for a smoothie and water bottle and saw maybe 10+ other customers who came in after me leave with their orders. I figured maybe my smoothie was more complicated to prepare but that wasn’t the case. When I finally went up to the counter to ask what was taking so long the cashier told me that a ticket never printed up. I also didn’t understand why the cashier didn’t give me the water at the time of payment instead of having me wait. Its not like the water needed to be prepared. The second time I waited for a shorter amount of time because I figured the same issue occurred and I was right. It’s very frustrating.

Yum! That is all i can say, awesome protein shakes and smoothies as well as wraps and sandwiches.

Free birthday smoothie! Large one! Lately I eat out a lot and feel chubbier, so I chose DETOX GREEN smoothie.
Taste: Great! Ginger, kale, banana, … I felt much better after I drank it. My heart burn was gone.
Price: Many healthy things are under $ 10.
Interior: Nothing special but clean.
Staff: They are not that friendly but fast and patient with my indecisiveness.
Parking lot: Lots of free spots right in front of it.

So this is my first time going to the tropical smoothie café and I ordered the half sandwich/​salad/​smoothie special for myself and one for my guy.
The food and smoothies were delicious! The Thai chicken salad was very good, salad looked and tasted fresh. The breakfast sandwich was tasty, and the peanut butter protein smoothie was to die for!
The lines here seem short, I was waited on quickly. There’s also plenty of parking here, so that’s another perk.
I deduced one star because they got my order wrong (but the salad was good anyways), also because I had ordered using an online app, and selected to pay in person and used a debit card. They weren’t able to honor the total cost reflected on my online order including discounts, because I didn’t pay in cash.
I’ll still be returning here and I recommend it to others, but be wary that if you made your order using a phone app, you have to pay on the app in advance. If you come to the register without cash, you may be charged full cost and they won’t honor the discount code price!

If this isn’t real fruit then I’ve been fooled!
The smoothies are fantastic! As is the food. Highly recommend the ‘ultimate club’ sandwich with the ‘Mango Magic’ smoothie. Always leave fully satisfied!
Excellent for post-​workout superfood also!

Just the java I needed! All I wanted was a quick cup of coffee and had gone into the Starbucks next door but didn’t have time for the line, so popped into Tropical Smoothie, with NO LINE, smiling helpful staff who helped me make myself a quick Keurig cup of fresh coffee (several selections) for a frugal $ 1.75. In and out and 5 mins! Loads of parking too!

Below average at best. If you want something with taste I would go elsewhere. I have done half a dozen or more smoothie chains and figured I would try this as it is close to home. I ordered a Bahama Mama (Strawberries, pineapple, white chocolate & coconut), I got a strawberry smoothie, not a hint of anything but strawberry. Perhaps combining tastes and ingredients was too complicated but I would go elsewhere unless you are really in the mood for a $ 7 strawberry smoothie. Service appeared uninterested but delivered the smoothie fairly quick, which might explain the lack of quality.

Forget Jamba Juice (JJ), Robeks, and Smoothie King! After trying avocolada smoothie and seasonal specials (cucumber mojito and watermelon mojito smoothies) numerous times, Tropical Smoothie Café has more delicious yet economic smoothies compared to their rival smoothie shops.
Tropical smoothie Café’s smoothies don’t taste like watered down lack-​of-​flavor cheap smoothies. Also you usually pay 5 – 7 bucks to get them. I like getting large size smoothies for hot Summer days and other smoothie shops charge me about 8 – 10 bucks (without adding any «magic» healthy powders). So expensive for poor students like me!
I hope they keep cucumber mojito, watermelon mojito, avocolada smoothies… They’re so good and I’m addicted to Avocolada! My hubby thinks I’m a reincarnation of Avocolada God. –_​–
I haven’t tried their sandwiches but my husband said he tried some of their sliders and sandwiches. He said they tasted ok but they were tiny (and he thinks they’re overpriced). Once I try their sandwiches I will update my reviews. :)

Love this place. The Jamaican jerk wrap is pretty good. Not spicy enough for me but better than most commercial restaurants

My smoothie was really good! Very clean location. I took a star away because the cashier snatched my debit card out of my hand … come on man.

Just figured this place out, I’m in love! I get the Island Green, because I’m personally all about the veggies. I look forward to trying to their food as well. It’s refreshing to be able to discover healthy places to get a bite or drink! Highly recommended! Music can be a little too loud for a quite small place, but décor and staff are awesome!

Their smoothie menu consists of low-​fat (fruits), nutritious (with veggies), energized/​supercharged (workout), and indulgent (with chocolate, etc). They offer a wide variety of fruity goodness that cater to anybody’s craving. There is also the option to add supplements such as protein, flaxseed, probiotic, etc.
In addition they offer wraps, sandwiches, salads, and breakfast food options. Any of these can be made vegetarian.
Great location, quick service, and clean environment with plenty of seating for a low-​key, casual meal.
My personal favorites are the Mango Magic and Acai Berry Boost with protein. I like to order smoothies that I normally don’t make at home– like a special treat to myself after Zumba!

Loving that this is a 3 minute walk from my house! The Caribbean C+ burst is a great one as well as the Baja chicken flatbread. Online ordering and delivery are a plus!!! Friendly staff as well

Never tried any food here but the smoothies are always fresh and healthy tasting. Really refreshing one large smoothie lasts me a walk home. But they should give the op ti on of a smaller sizes.

Tropical Smoothie is good, I won’t lie, but this particular location needs to work on their employees or hours or something. On two occasions I have been outside for at least 15 minutes waiting for them to open up and either they never open at all or finally in strolls a late employee. Last time I was there, I showed up at 8 (their sign says they are open at 7am) and the store wasn’t open. It’s a little frustrating. I don’t know of any other smoothie place that is near my work.
Oh and another time, the owner forgot to put his emergency stick on and his car rolled halfway into the parking lot. True story!

Have you ever believed in love at first sip? I do now, after hearing so many good things about Tropical Smoothie and finally having the chance to try it out.
There are three categories of smoothies: Low-​fat, supercharged, (with different boosts like acai, vitamins, etc.) and indulgent, (AKA fattening but oh-​so-​delicious!) which all come in 24 oz. Along with smoothies, there’s food such as wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads, and breakfast foods. There’s also a kids menu with their own smoothies and food.
I ordered the Paradise Point, and my boyfriend ordered the Bahama Mama. The Paradise Point was simply refreshing, and the Bahama Mama had a hint of white chocolate that made it taste similar to a piña colada. I can’t wait to come back to try a different flavor!
