Established in 1983.

The Nellis Group was founded by Vicki Nellis in 1983. The business continued to expand with Jim Nellis joining her after he retired from the Navy and the children: James, Nicole & Keith (Son-​in-​Law) joining the family bnusiness. It has continued to expand and now includes 4 Agent Specialists that cover different parts of DC & VA and a full-​time staff.

Meet the Business Owner

James N.

Business Owner

James grew up in the local Northern Virginia area. He attended Immanuel Christian School in Springfield and Paul VI High School in Fairfax. James went on to Carson-​Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee, and double majored in Psychology and Religion. James is a natural at negotiating and putting the client’s needs first which he attributes to mentoring in the family business and his educational background in psychology.

James grew up playing tennis, and still plays singles and doubles. He is an avid volleyball player with 2 weekly leagues playing with Nellis Group teams. Outside of sports, travel is a passion; he loves seeing the country and the world, and is always looking for the next adventure.
