History

Established in 2008.

Jacob Doherty, a young entrepreneur, founded Soundlink Studio in early 2008. It started out as a recording studio, recording local and regional bands of all genres. After 2 years Jacob and his business partner Kyle Schultz decided to expand, reaching out in as many creative outlets as they could. The video production side of Soundlink Studio emerged and eventually expanded the company into what we are now: a versatile production studio providing professional quality audio and video productions for all varieties of consumers. We are based in the Cincinnati /​Northern Kentucky area but are always willing to travel to your destination!

Jacob’s passion for being creative started in high school where he played with a Christian band for 3 years trying to make music that everyone can enjoy. After recording several EP’s he quickly learned the beauty of what happens behind the mixer in a studio. He then attended brown Mackie College where he studied audio/​video and realized even more passion for video. He became certified as a recording engineer at the recording workshop. He has since worked as the director of photography on a psychological/​thriller movie as well as several promotional videos for companies such as CityOf​.com. Now he aspires to bring his experience and love of creative filmmaking to your project.
