Post maternity, I didn’t exactly fit my suits anymore so I had to buy a size up. However, being short, I had to get the slacks and arms shortened. They did great work pretty quickly and at a reasonable price. Looks like I know where I’ll be going for all my alteration needs!

I had just moved here, and had to get some pants tailored and fixed up so that I wouldn’t look like a degenerate when going to my new job. Good news, turns out this place was right up the road from where I lived, so I stopped it. Small, unassuming place, with lots of overpriced suits for sale(no thanks) but quickly went to work. Didn’t take long, they hemmed them right up and repaired any issues at a charge of 10 $ a pop. Not to bad. I’ll be back next time I need something fixed up.

I had just moved to the Alexandria area and was looking for a tailor to adjust two pairs of pants I had just bought. I’m rather short, and all my pants are always too long, so I just needed the pants slightly shortened and hemmed. After reading some reviews on Google, I found Schwartz Tailoring. Several reviewers said that he was both great and inexpensive, so I decided to give it a try. I really wanted to like the work, but unfortunately, after putting on the pants, I realized that they were both too short. I had to take my pants to another tailor to get them fixed, but unfortunately, the tailor at Schwartz Tailoring cut too much of the fabric and those pants will never be the right size. Yes, the prices are inexpensive($ 10 to hem a pair of pants), but the work was less than stellar. I’d recommend going elsewhere.
