Established in 2013.

S & L Translation formed out of the owners’, Steven and Liliana, desire to help cultures understand each other through language. The company has provided translations for birth certificates, thesis, transcripts and business correspondances. Additionally, It has provided medical interpretation for hospital visits.

Business Owner

Steven Lee, a native of the United States, earned a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the Universidad del Salvador in Argentina, as a Rotary World Peace Fellow in 2011. He graduated from Montana State University in 2004 with majors in Spanish and History. Lee has taught for three years in the United States. He served as a volunteer with Peace Corps in Macedonia from 2005 to 2007. He speaks Spanish, Macedonian and French.

Liliana Lugo Mendoza, a native of Mexico, has taught foreign language for a total of twelve years in California as an exchange teacher of the Binational Migrant Education Program of U.S. — Mexico and Mexico as an English Teacher. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the Escuela Normal Superior de Morelos in Mexico in 2003. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Organization Psychology in 2010.
