This is hands down the best auto repair shop in the DMV the mechanics are so great and understanding
I brought in my 2000 honda accord and I swear I thought I had to give it up the car wouldnt even go past 15 mph but they told me they will try whatever they can to find the problem and fix it
Not even 2 days boom my car was back hell it felt like it was 100% after they took care of it
These guys are the best definitely go to them
The service is great and price is affordable
I’m definitely only trusting R&G with my car needs

These guys do good work however… Their hours are awful! They SAY they open at 8:00 but I guess it depends on when they feel like getting in… Maybe 8:00… 8:15… 8:30-ish… And they SAY they close around 6. But it’s more like 5:00… 5:15… 5:30… I guess that, too, depends on when they feel like getting out of there. That basically boils down to a) you’re going to be late getting to work and b) you’re going to have to leave early in order to pick your car up on time. Again, the workmanship is good. But the hours really suck! I will NOT be back.

Omar and his team were great about guiding me through the steps they took to determine the problem and showing me what they found. I had a throttle issue (RPMs bouncing between 2−3k), and Omar took a look right away, read out the error codes (which I think any shop should do for free, but many don’t). He found no obvious problem with any sensors after fiddling around and testing things out for ~5 minutes, and said that he’d need to take it apart and replace the air flow valve for $ 60, which I scheduled for a couple days later. Unfortunately when they took the throttle body apart they found that the idle control sensor needed to be replaced and the inside of the throttle body cleaned — he showed me pictures they took of the inside when I came to pick up the car. Apparently the sensor wasn’t available after-​market, so I had to pay a fair bit for the part, but it’s working great now.

Omar and Kashi are amazing. Omar got my car in and out in a couple hours. He was frank about that was needed and didn’t try to linger over the work and drive up labor costs. I am a female and I am always hesitant with mechanics but Omar was straight with me and treated me with respect. I highly recommend them. And their rates are incredibly reasonable!!! Great prompt service, fair price. I won’t allow anyone else to touch my vehicle from here on out. Thanks guys!

Found this place on Unilocal and it was perfect. My friend drove into town for a wedding and her car started shaking while driving. She luckily made it in safe and we had to get to a shop fast so they could figure out what was wrong and fix it.
Based on the reviews and the place being close we went R&G.
We called and they were courteous, friendly and made time to see the car. Provided honest assessment on the car and went out their way to make sure it was done quickly because they knew my friend was from out of town for a wedding. The car was fixed within a few hours. The price was reasonable given all they did in the short amount of time. We left and the car sounded and worked perfect. Great customer service and will go if I need any maintenance on my car.

My husband took our vehicle there last Friday after shopping around and its a long drive due to our location. But well worth the trip the service is outstanding by the guys at R&G Auto Repair. My husband said it was the first time he felt not ripped off by car repairs. We have three vehicles and one is a truck and all will be having future repairs or tune-​ups there. If there was 10 ten stars I would give them all 10. My husband and I was very impressed with their service and customer service. They will let you know what is going on before starting repairs if there is something new. Spreading the word about this five-​star auto repair

I found this place on Craigslist and called to get a quote on how much it would be to replace my water pump. They gave a great quote so I made my way there. Upon arrival, my family and I were greeted and the work that was to be done was explained.
We sat in their lobby and waited for the work to be done. About two hours in, one of the staff members gave my family and I some sodas and juice for the kid.
Everyone there was very professional. You can not beat the prices. I will be getting all my future work done there for now on.

I called them first thing in the morning stating my car keeps cutting off and I need a HO2 Sensor replaced. Omar said sure bring it in and from there on he gave me great service and had my car fixed in about an hour! This was my first time going to him and I will surely be back for my future auto repair needs :) I am happy!

I called around looking for prices to replace thermostat in my Nissan Sentra. Their price was very reasonable and I was told they could complete it in an hour. True to their word, the price was right and service completed as promised. Two things imperative for a honest mechanic. You’re in good hands here.
Here’s the background: I am away from my home dealership in Boston, I have already had one disastrous experience with a Volvo dealership in the area (do NOT go to Fairfax Volvo for anything!), and I don’t know anything about my beloved car except for putting gas in it… and paying the bills, of course.
All I needed was an oil change, so off I went to R & G to see Simon and the guys. I called first, drove right in, and was totally taken care of. In and out in no time, kind of easy to miss on Eisenhower Ave as it is tucked in down a row of businesses, but once you are there you’re good to go.
