Patrick’s Painting was amazing. Their team recently painted the interior of my 3 story town house, and pressure washed /​stained my deck and fence. The results were flawless and the clean up was immaculate.
I am extremely happy with the results, as well as the customer service. His office manager, Genesis stayed in constant contact with me letting me know when he was going to start and proposed finish time of the job. I also had plenty of questions to go along which were answered.
I would highly recommend Patrick’s Painting to any of my family or friends and already have him lined up to work with my father who is selling our family home.

Patrick’s did some interior wall and ceiling painting in our house. The work was done very professionally and the final product is great. Patrick’s Painting just completed our interior painting and installed our kitchen backsplash and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. Patrick and his team were respectful of our home and schedules and were amenable to my requests. Update – Patrick got in touch after he saw my lukewarm review on Unilocal.He said he had emailed me the estimates as we’d originally agreed. He offered to re-​send them and I received them that day. Unfortunately, by this time he was booked up for the remainder of the outdoor painting season so the outdoor work would have to wait until spring. He did a good job of breaking the estimate into several parts so that I could select options like an ala carte menu. I appreciated that. I added a star here, but can’t give more since he hasn’t actually painted for us.

Did an excellent job painting my office. They are a quality company — quick, clean, good price. Im most satisfied because they really transformed my office and exceeded my expectations. Its hard to find a good contractor like this. Its not often that a recommend a contractor but I do recommend Patrick’s Painting. We will hire him this spring for some power washing and house painting at my residence.

I highly recommend Patrick Coye for those odds and ends around the house that are must-​do items, but require a lot of time or special tools to complete! Our rear deck was looking pretty bad after the long, hard winter and I knew we needed to get it cleaned and stained before the summer ended. After hours of research on Angie’s List and other review aggregators, I selected Patrick’s Painting as the company I wanted to invite over for a consult & quote.
After exchanging e-​mails with Patrick’s admin assistant, we settled on a date for Patrick to visit to give the quote. On the day of the visit, he arrived promptly and we found him to be very approachable and easy to talk to about home improvement projects. Most importantly, by a stroke of luck, we learned he had done work on the house in the past – the previous owner had hired him, too – I knew then he was the man to do the project – it was fate! After taking a look at the project, and much to discussion revolving around me adding additional tasks, such as gutter cleaning and exterior window washing, Patrick said he would get back to us with a quote. A few days later, a very professional and detailed quote arrived via e-​mail. We were asked to submit a small deposit and that the company would be in touch to arrange a specific date for the service.
The day before the work was to be performed, Patrick contacted us and told us he and his crew would start the project the next day. We left for work in the morning and were pleased to come home to a beautiful new-​looking deck! Moreover, all of our windows were washed (they needed it!), and we were pleased to learn that Patrick diagnosed that the gutter wasn’t clogged after all. More importantly, rather than just take out money (how would I have known – I don’t have a ladder that will reach my rooftop), he instead adjusted the overall price of the project. Also, he purchased and installed a leaf guard and removed some debris from the roof of our home.
Overall, we were very pleased with the project and will certainly use Patrick again! He’s easy to work with, very patient with idiots (like me), and exceeded our expectations. I am fortunate I have the opportunity to appreciate his work every time I am on the deck or look out one of our now clean windows!

Can’t say enough about Patrick and his crew. They painted the interior of our town house and did a wonderful job. Paint looks great, they worked like crazy, finished the job early, and were polite, courteous and helpful. I would use them again for painting and will also call them to do some handy man/​repair stuff soon!

I got a quote from Patrick’s Painting and another contractor as well. Patrick’s Painting was the cheaper option and when meeting him when he gave the estimate, I felt he was professional so we arranged to have some drywall work done and touch up painting.
Patrick’s team arrived on time and did the work quickly and professionally. It looks really good and I am happy with what they did! I will be calling them back again when I have saved up more money for other work I need done!
Also, they gave me Patrick’s Painting cookies at the end. they were really good.

I emailed Patrick about receiving an estimate to paint the interior of my house. Especially since the neighbors raved about his work along with his Unilocal feedback. Patrick called and we schedule an appointment two days later.
At the completion of the walk through, Patrick and I sat down and went over the estimate. Patrick stated that he was going to send me the estimate in writing along with the contract. After a week had past, I decided to give Patrick a call and his assistant stated that it had been a busy week, but will remind him to send the estimate. Two weeks later I emailed Patrick to inquire about the estimate, the contract and the time frame to start the job. Still didn’t hear back from Patrick.
At the end of five weeks since the walkthrough with Patrick, I sent him another email. Patrick finally replied by stating that he was receiving an email address error when trying to forward the estimate. After receiving the estimate, the estimate was 6k more than he quoted. I sent Patrick an email asking if this was the correct price and why the increase of 6k. Patrick stated that when he got home from the walk through; he realized that he forgot to add few things!
My issue is this… a simple phone call or email explaining the difference in price would have been fine. Instead five weeks later with an explanation of «I forgot to add a few things» is unsatisfactory. In the military we call that «lack of integrity» and not to mention very unprofessional.

I had a great experience from beginning to end. Fantastic job staining my deck and great communication throughout the process. I highly recommend Patrick and his crew.

Patrick and team are great. Super professional and very detailed. I used them once for my apartment bedroom a couple years ago and hired them again recently to repaint an old townhouse. He also connected me with some other good home repair/​contractors for other needs, very helpful.

We have used Patrick for both interior and exterior work. In both occasions we obtained three estimates, and Patrick was in the middle both times.
His team was able to successfully smooth out a badly textured wall and handled very high ceilings over a stairwell with ease. Based on the work they did inside, we hired them again to power wash and stain our deck and fence, which they carefully did by hand. I was particularly pleased with Patrick’s detailed estimates and responsiveness.
We had concerns about one aspect of the work, and Patrick sent his team back to fix it at no charge to us.
I would hire them again, and have gladly recommended them to my neighbors.

The job Patrick and crew did was okay, but I’d say Patrick overpromised a bit and then underdelivered on what he promised.
He told me how «perfect» their work would be when he gave me his estimate and then sold me on what he said was his team’s higher quality, especially for his higher price, but I am finding quite a few flaws in their work.
His communication is good, but things really started to fall apart when it actually came time to do the work.
For the price – and I felt nickel-​and-​dimed a little too much for my taste – I am really not happy with the job.
I will hire a different company next time.

I enthusiastically recommend Patrick and am looking forward to working with him again. Every part of the experience, from the initial estimate to completion of the drywall and painting, was problem-​free. One part of our project was a challenging spot to work in as well, as the space was on a staircase, somewhat narrow, and almost 20 feet high. They did an outstanding job, and we will certainly call them again for future projects.

I would highly recommend hiring Patrick’s services. He and his hard working team provided a clean, efficient and detail oriented approach to painting several spaces in my townhouse — I had minor to moderate cracks in multiple locations in my ceiling and walls that were repaired/​painted making it look like new construction. I received quotes from two businesses and while the first one was the lowest price, Patrick’s quote came in on time, detailed, and he explained everything in person upfront. He and his team of two other painters prepped and painted our dining room, living room, hallway up the stairs, and upstairs landing (trim included). All this in two days and one of those days had some icy snow weather (read: the cruddy weather didn’t stop them from arriving in the morning on time or delay them in any way).
A majority of the time was spent prepping our walls. We live in an old townhouse with beat-​up walls. Their drywall repair jobs were excellent. We will have Patrick and his team back for more work in the future. Highly recommend!

We had Patrick and his team paint several rooms and ceilings in our house. From quote to completion, working with Patrick was easy. He was straightforward, communicative, and accessible. The project took exactly as long as Patrick estimated it would, and he and his crew stayed late to make sure it was finished on time. And, just as importantly, the paint job itself is high quality: all of the lines are straight and everything looks even and fantastic. We would absolutely recommend Patrick’s Painting, and won’t hesitate to call Patrick again for future projects.

Had holes in my ceiling stemming from some previous work that was done. This group was recommended by electrician. After sending some photos of the damage, Patrick gave me an estimate and a plan. They were accurate in their pricing and timeline. The result greatly exceeded my expectation, and you would never know there was any damage there at all. I would recommend them.

I bought a large, 5-​bedroom home in Alexandria which required a complete paint job throughout — walls, trim, doors, etc. I flew in from California and lined up three painters for an estimate. All the estimates were competitive… but Patrick stood out as he was the only one to keep in contact and continue to answer my questions after I had flown back across country. (With the other painters… it was like out of sight, out of mind.) I hired him based on that trait. His quote was very reasonable, as well.
I told him the colors I wanted, and gave him the combination to the lockbox. He worked unsupervised and even emailed me picture updates periodically. When I flew in to Virginia last week, I couldn’t have been more pleased with the final result. He even left me some paint for touch ups down the road. It was then I decided to hire him to refinish the deck, which he has agreed to do this month.
If you want someone who is attentive, detail-​oriented and delivers on time — hire Patrick’s Painting.

Patrick was the fourth and final painter from whom I received a quote for a relatively small job. The first three quotes were so far apart that we couldn’t make a decision because the comparison was apples to oranges. When I called Patrick, he came over within 48 hours to look at the house and do the estimate for us. He was polite, on time, and very clear about what it would take to do the job, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. His estimate was neither the highest nor the lowest, but it seemed the most clearly articulated — I knew what I was getting for my money.
When it came to the job itself, they were willing to accommodate my schedule and showed up on time, went right to work, took no more than the amount of time they’d originally estimated, and cleaned up after themselves when they were done.
The room had a significant amount of damage from some old cabinetry and shelving, along with different coats of contrasting paint to deal with. Patrick and his crew spent a lot of time and care to prep the walls and ceiling before starting the actual painting. The room they painted is now one of my favorite in the house!

I scheduled an estimate with this company to come to my condo today at 10 AM. While the company was very responsive through email and even confirming the appointment by stating «10am works for me. See yah Saturday.», they showed up 26 minutes after the appointment time. When I answered the door I told Pat that he was a half hour late which he respond «you said 10». Exactly, I stated 10 and you confirmed 10 and it’s 4 minutes until 10:30. At that moment this company lost my business. If they can’t even make an appointment on time for an estimate how can I expect the work would be completed on time.

Patrick and his team recently painted almost our entire home, and we’re incredibly pleased with the results.
At the outset, I appreciated that Patrick was responsive and professional. Compared to other companies in the area, he gave us a very reasonable estimate — which included the painting, some drywall repair and a difficult custom stripe job in the stairwell.
His team was punctual, courteous and careful with our belongings. I definitely felt comfortable having them in our home (our dog did too!). The guys finished up ahead of schedule, were great about touching up spots we noticed along the way — and the paint looks fantastic. I’d definitely recommend their services.

Patrick was referred to me by a former neighbor. I contacted Patrick to give me an estimate for some repair work for a home I was going to be renting out after moving to a larger place. He was very punctual, and pretty fair. The scope was pretty small in comparison to the initial estimate, but they did a great job. I got a room and the ceiling in the mail level of a townhome painted, they were fast and pretty good at protecting around their work and cleaning up after the fact.
I will have them come to my new home to do some work as soon as I get unpacked.
