MindSpring Metro DC’s mission is to provide individuals with the skills and motivation needed to better their personal and professional lives through the understanding and mastery of the forces shaping them. At our core, we are dedicated to helping ordinary people produce extraordinary results in their life and work.
History
Established in 2014.
MindSpring Consulting, Inc. (Headquarters office) was founded in 1993 by Haydn and Terry Hasty. Both came from the public education arena. From discoveries made through an innovative methodology, Suggestive Accelerative Learning and Teaching, which Dr. Hasty has implemented for over 10 years, the Hastys began designing curriculums and developmental processes in the areas of leadership, teacher development, and personal mastery. In 2006, the new training center on Tunnel Road in East Asheville was built, just 10 minutes from downtown Asheville, NC.
MindSpring Consulting, Inc.‘s first franchise, MindSpring Metro DC, was opened in 2014 to serve clients in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas.
Meet the Business Owner
Christina E.
Business Owner
Prior to MindSpring Metro DC, Christina Eanes spent over fifteen years in public service with a police department in California and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. During this time, she worked on a variety of programs including the FBI’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Program where she analyzed serial homicide and sexual assault cases in conjunction with state and local law enforcement officials, and the FBI’s Leadership Development Program where she led a team of government and contract facilitators to improve and shift the management culture in the Bureau by training over 5,000 leaders from new supervisors to seasoned executives. Christina has a B.S. and M.S. in Criminal Justice Leadership, an M.S. in Education with a specialization in Training and Performance Improvement, and is a Certified Professional Coactive Coach (CPCC). In addition, she serves as President for the DC Chapter of the Association for Talent Development.
