Nice, friendly latino market with a nice selection of fresh vegies and meats. However, I come here mostly for the frozen empanada shells. Always a good selection and a very reasonable price!

Saudade… This store is right in my old stomping grounds! I miss whole tilapia for under 2 bucks. I miss my candies — yeah, the little chili pepper melon candies that most Cali/​Tex ppl know of. Mostly, I miss the wide variety of Goya products that my local grocer will never carry. Oh, and the bag of cold, mango slices in the very humid summers…

Another place to venture if you’re doing your laundry nearby, this little latino grocery can be pretty handy. A nice selection of condiments to spice up any meal, I got an interesting chipotle hot sauce here that I was able to get a lot of mileage out of. If you’re looking for hard to find Goya products for a latin recipe, this place is worth a shot!
