Good luck trying to get someone to call you back and show you a property. After numerous calls to them, I gave up trying. Most of their listings online are no longer available and they just keep them to attract business. Customer service is surprisingly terrible for an industry that relies so heavily on reputation and word of mouth. I would never let them manage my property or be one of their tenants. I rather deal directly with the owner through a service like

I will have to say that I would recommend Brian Hong and Jery Beamer to any home buyer. As a first time home buyer, they surpassed my wife and my expectations. I was given Brian as a recommendation from a military buddy of mine on the west coast as I received word I was transferring to Maryland.
I called Brian from California and told him I had two months to purchase a home and that I was a first time buyer. He gladly took my wife and me in and assisted us through EVERY portion of the process. With the small window of time he was given, he recommended I come see the homes and I flew into Maryland the next week. Walking off the plane I get a phone call from my supervisor telling me that the original plans to Maryland were changed to Virginia. I called Brian up frustrated because of the plan we developed to see homes in Maryland went to shambles. I truly felt the travel from the west coast fell out.
Brian listened to what I had to say and then inspired me to come out to his office in Virginia and he would draft up a new plan for my first home. That first day Brian, and his partner Jery, spent hours working with me to formulate a game plan. The next two days Jery was prepared to show me every listing I wanted to see. The final day I knew in my heart which houses worked best for my family.
Brian gave us a strategy and put together an offer that couldn’t have been any better. Both the amount and the letter were perfect. He kept my lender and me on our toes throughout the entire process. I can truly say that he is a mastermind at this and a true professional. He openly listened to our concerns and always conveyed our requests immediately with results.
I could go on and on about more specifics, like how friendly he is, how he got the sellers to take care of a large list of items for us before closing, but instead I’ll just say that Brian and Jery from Long and Fosters Alexandria really exceeded our expectations, and as a result of working with them, we are now living in the perfect home for us and happier than ever. It sounds strange that it only took 4 days to make the decision but I believe in blessings. The blessing in this situation was Brian. If it weren’t for Brian and Jery’s determination to help my family find a home, we would have been renting and paying someone else’s mortgage.

SHAMUS BRANNAN: my husband and I arrived to the area with very little time to secure a place to live before he needed to report for work. Shamus was able to get us into a fantastic condo that fit our specifications and within our budget in record time! He took what was a very stressful move for us and made it a fun adventure looking at different homes until we found «the one.»
