It’s Your Move, Movers

My friend used this service to move into her apartment. I cannot advise against using this service enough. Fredy is completely unprofessional. After moving her into her apartment, he continued to send her inappropriate text messages until she explicitly asked him to stop contacting her. It is unacceptable for a professional in an industry to use his position to try to solicit inappropriate relationships with customers. To make matters worse he is a mover so he knows where his customers live. Do not use this service, especially if you are a female who lives alone.

Fredy and his team were great and very quick in the whole process. I moved from an apartment to a townhouse so the loading into the truck was more time-​consuming than the unloading into the house but all went well. These guys are super quick and waste no time! Rates are very fair and it’s well worth hiring the three man team just to get it over with sooner. They were almost an hour late (which is no big deal, just wanted to make sure we were still on) and I called to see when they might be arriving. I was told I was sent an email about the late arrival, which is true, but I had no idea and a phone call would have been better as I don’t know who is furiously checking email on the day of a move. Even if you’re sure Fredy and team have your number (which they did mine as we had talked and texted) I’d make sure to clarify if there are any changes or delays they please give you a call. Regardless, 100% would hire again for a move and recommend to others. I’d also add that even though their website says they accept all forms of payment, they only accept cash and check so be prepared.

Used them to move from Crystal City to Silver Spring. Freddy and his team are great, they even picked up an additional guy to help unload at the new place. Very friendly and helpful. I’ve recommended them to friends and coworkers.

The best moving experience I have had to date. I called an asked for an estimate for an upcoming move. Freddy answered the line, quoted a price and scheduled an appointment for my move. Being my first experience with a moving company and hearing all of the horror stories, I was a little skeptical because it was just so easy. I guess I expected trouble but the icing on the cake is that It’s Your Move Movers didnt charge me a reservation fee (Awesome!). Long story short three very professional and hard working guys came in, assessed the items to move and went to work. These guys were great and keep in mind it was pouring down raining at the time. No broken items, nothing missing and now that I think about it none of my items were even wet! It’s Your Move Movers did what they said they were going to do for the price they quoted. I will be calling them again for any future moves.
