Henrys Wrecker Service

Had my car towed by Henry’s today. I was stuck in a travel lane of traffic and police provided me the number to Henry’s to call for a tow. I called for the tow at 4:37 pm and the tow truck did not arrive until 6:10. When he arrived, I asked him why he was so late he asked what I was talking about and indicated that he had only been dispatched 15 minutes prior to his arrival. Unacceptable. I spoke to the manager and he cited «traffic» as the cause of my delayed service, which would have made sense except for the fact that this company specifically has extra trucks out between 4pm and 6pm in high traffic areas to tow illegally parked cars (in my city, lanes flex between on-​street parking and travel lanes during peak hours). Apparently, Henry’s was more interested in making money towing cars for the city than helping a distressed motorist. But Marvin (the manager) was happy to point out to me that if I had been a police officer, somebody would have responded to my call much sooner. Thanks for that Marvin. I cannot believe the city of Alexandria uses this company as their primary towing company. I plan on contesting my bill for this «service.» Lousy. Just lousy.

This place is a joke. They do not follow virginia drop laws and will be seen in court for their crimes. Do not do business with this place unless you have no choice they are a scam.
