Dr. Garcia is mediocre at best. The care I received from her as a specialist is no better than what I received from my general practice. The practitioner working with her is very good. Appointment times are difficult to come by and my waiting room time has never been less than 30 minutes. Last time I was there I waited for over an hour past my appointment time while she was in her office chatting with a drug rep. Her front desk staff is not professional. They have no consideration for working patients who have to use their vacation time to make appointments. This is the last time I will visit the office. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

She was listed as an endocrinologist in Alexandria. Her bedside manner was awful. She was late for over an hour, and her staff did not inform me what was going on. I showed up and was expected to wait and wait. I did so because I was a fool, and they kept saying any minute now. She finally arrived and was extremely arrogant. When I said I actually was ready to leave and would not pay since she was late for over an hour and she herself had a «charge the patient if they’re late policy,» she, Maria Garcia, shut the folder and said, then I didn’t get my test results. She then proceeded to «go at me.» I would stay away from someone like this who clearly cares more about collecting payment than patients. After the fact, I looked up her credentials since she was a referral from a PCP, and she has bad reviews online. Save your money.
