I have been a patient at Floss and Smile for 8 years and have always had great service. They are in their new location and it is really nice and modern. The staff is very courteous and professional. I especially like that Dr. Townes always explains the cost of something if my insurance doesn’t cover it, before it is done to make sure I am comfortable with proceeding. I highly recommend Floss and Smile.

Cleanings might be fine, but actual dental work is awful. Extra cement used on the temporary was so excessive it caused massive pain. Another dentist removed the excess and was surprised it passed a final inspection. The floss and smile dentist left for lunch with out checking the technicians work. On the next visit the crown never arrived from their lab, they cancelled the appt on me 15 minutes before it was to begin. When the crown was finally put on the dentist did not shape the tooth correctly and one year later there is still pain. Terrible experience.

I have super sensitive gums, and the technician was great about not causing any pain during the cleaning. The office staff worked to double and triple check with my insurance what my payments would be for the work done. What originally was anticipated to be hundreds of dollars ended up being less than 100, which I appreciated. Good location, clean office, easy parking. Be warned: your appointment will be at least 30 minutes late. Plan accordingly if you need to be back at work or somewhere else.

I had a regular cleaning done here last month. The office is located in a strip mall and parking was a little difficult. Inside the office, you can tell it is an older building. It took the office manager a little while to find my insurance, even though I verified they accept it when making my appointment. My hygienist was a little rough, but thorough. Dr. Townes checked in after the cleaning about a couple potential cavities in between my teeth. Rather than recommend they be filled, she wrote a prescription for a fluoride gel. She suggested I use that for the next six months and see if we can avoid fillings. I appreciate she gave me the option. They are moving to a new building next month, so hopefully it will be newer and parking will be easier.
