Everything overall was great. The staff was super nice and the shop was on point! I would shop there again.

I cannot thank the owner and wonderful staff enough for their help on my two year wedding anniversary recently. The cotton embroidered shirts I ordered for my husband were delayed and wouldn’t arrive in time. Scrambling for an alternative, I called DRM to see if they could help me in a pinch. They were gracious and accommodating, and were able to complete a beautifully monogrammed handkerchief before the end of the day. Everyone from Nick, the owner, to the two lovely ladies at the shop took extra care to ensure the gift was a success; which it was. Thank you again Del Ray Monograms. I’ll definitely be back with all of my monogram needs.

First off, if I could give 0 stars, I would. I would highly advise any individual to not use this monogram shop. I recently went to Del Ray monograms to have something done for my graduation and specifically asked for my item to not be advertised or shared on social media or websites of any kind and I was originally told that is fine. After completion of my item, my original request for privacy was blatantly disregarded as a picture was posted on Facebook and Instagram. It took several hours and lots of frustration before the owner of Del Ray Monograms, Nick, finally took down the pictures. He had several excuses along the way of all the reasons why the pictures were still up. In addition, when I walked into the store to pick up my item, the employees had not realized I was in the store and we’re talking very negatively about me. Comments such as «this customer is a brat» were said for about 10 minutes before anyone realized I was in the store. When I originally walked in and overheard the comments, I started recording it on my phone in case the owner wanted to hear it but when I called the owner about this, Nick said he «can’t control what is employees say» and pretty much regarded the situation as if I just needed to get over it. The owner, Nick, has no care about his customers. He solely is about making money however he can. His lack of customer service, though, has now not only lost him my future business but I also the future business of all my sorority sisters. My graduation item was very sought after in my sorority and he could have had hundreds of potential sales in the next few years from my sorority alone, since we monogram everything from everyday items to big/little items, initiation items, and everything in between. Because of this experience, though, and how poorly I was treated, I have advised all 140 of my sorority sisters to never use this shop as well as our entire Panhellenic community solely based on his inability to treat a customer with respect. Additionally, not only was this such a terrible experience, it’s not worth the price at all. The prices at this shop are 6 times the price I pay for monograms back home. Save yourself money and frustration and take your business elsewhere where customer service is a priority. *Written below is responding to the comment posted on my review from Nick, the owner: This review is merely a reflection of my visit at this company. Nick, I’m sorry if you don’t agree with what I have written. My point throughout this review is discussing how you are more concerned about yourself than your customers and by your comment, you’re only backing up what I have said. Whether your employee remembers me asking for privacy or not is not my fault. The matter of fact is that I asked for it and she failed to note it on my paperwork which you told me repeated on our phone call was my fault, not yours. As for the price, yes I agreed to it because I thought by paying more, I would receive an amazing quality and customer service. Clearly that is not what happened. When I came to pick up my item, you tried charging me more than what was originally quoted and what was written down on my order form. You only gave me the item free of charge after I was discussed I had already been in contact with my attorney and was discussing taking legal action against your company. Giving me the item free was merely an attempt to please me in order for me to not move forward with my attorney. Yes, we did talk on the phone and our phone call was 20 minutes, but it was 20 minutes of you repeatedly telling me what happened was not your fault and instead, you insisted it was mine. Like I said from the moment I walked into the store, I have not only our phone call fully recorded but also the numerous negative comments your employees said about me and have saved the recording for my attorney. If you do not remember telling me numerous times I was wrong, I can mail you a copy of the recording for your reference. From the beginning, all I wanted was an apology from you for your company’s mistakes and I have yet to receive one from you. I have heard you repeatedly, though, talk solely about yourself and your company and all that you do correct. Everyone makes mistakes. Next time, own up to it and admit when you’re wrong.

Del Ray Monograms is truly the best shop for all your monogramming needs. I give a lot of monogrammed gifts and always use this store. Whether it’s an item I purchase from DRM or an item I’ve purchased elsewhere, I know the monograms will be properly placed and the final product will be nothing less than perfect. Nick and the team are all very detail oriented and ensure that your final product exceeds expectations. Stop by their boutique, you won’t be disappointed!

I took some items in to be monogrammed over 2 weeks ago. I was told it would take a week and that they would call me when ready to be picked up. Needless to say to I do not have the monogrammed items yet. I called and at first the man said I could have them Monday Dec. 22nd. I objected to that delivery date. Then he said Saturday or Sunday. Haven’t heard a word from them and it’s Sunday afternoon. These were Christmas gifts that needed to be shipped. If I had been told the truth about how long it would take then I would have gone somewhere else. If I were the Purple Goose, I’d throw these unreliable folks out. It reflects poorly on the Goose even though I don’t think the businesses are connected. Needless to say, I will look elsewhere for future monogramming needs.

I called around a number of local places to have 4 last minute coaches gifts(Ogli soft sided coolers) embroidered with their names(Coach Bill, Coach Mary, etc). Everyone online needed a minium that far exceeded four and 3 — 5 days. Local folks wanted 3 days(at least) as well. Sadly, I didn’t have 3 days. I was so grateful to find this Del Ray specialist working out of a(lovely) children’s boutique. He was fast, friendly and affordable — and I was very happy with the final product. If you’re doing 25 pieces or more this may not be the answer cost-wise. But for small jobs it was fantastic!
