Specialties

I create casual Family Portraits hand painted in acrylic of many sizes. I can include as many or few portraits as desired. (I have painted 42 portraits in one painting so any number is possible. More typical is 4 – 6 portraits). I will include a personalized background as discussed with the client. I paint from the clients own snapshots so NO SITTINGS! I create paintings for clients all over the country.

Dave is an amazing artist and a very nice guy. I saw an ad in a magazine that caters to the upscale consumer for his group portraits. I was thrilled to see it because his work is similar to mine. I have done many action portraits where families and friends are doing what they love. So, I got in touch with Dave, whose portraits start at close to $ 5,000 and I asked if I could get referrals from him for people who want to pay less. He agreed and wanted to see my work. Yesterday, I went over there with a huge portrait that I did of my cousin’s family (5 people, 5 ft. long), and he liked my work. His studio is in the beautiful Torpedo Factory. I’ll tell you, this guy has a great gig and I am lucky that he is doing so well and is so cool, because not every artist would give another artist leads. Right now he’s doing a portrait with 39 people in it, 7 feet long.
It was a gorgeous day yesterday and a beautiful day to visit Dave at The Torpedo Factory. I highly recommend that you all take a lovely fall day to check it out.
