I went in this morning to grab an arrangement for a coworker who had just lost a parent. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and were not pushy about the more expensive arrangements, they made one just for me that was gorgeous and cost effective, and I appreciate that!

I ordered flowers from Bloom Fresh for a memorial service and could not be happier with how they turned out. They captured my hopes and vision perfectly.

Very happy I found this place on Unilocal — the excellent reviews led me to call the day before Valentine’s day. I was happy they weren’t sold out. In fact, I was able to go there shortly after I called and chose a bouquet. I added a few pink roses and the extra cost was minimal.

I used to order from another Alexandria-​based flower shop but just felt like I was paying higher prices and getting far, far less.
Just ordered Valentine’s Day flowers with the help of Don. Bloom Fresh Flowers EARNED my business by doing a great job for our anniversary. Yes, I only send flowers two times a year, that’s it!
Anyway, the anniversary arrangement they created kept me out of the dog house. It was actually really nice, lots of flowers, lots of colors… and my wife loved it! That’s a good thing. If they do as good a job with tomorrow’s arrangement, maybe I’ll send flowers three times a year.

He has designed some of the most beautiful and original arrangements I have ever seen. Excellent service is his middle name! I was amazed when he took my ailing Money Plant back to his ‘hospital’ and brought a healthy one in its place. He even produces the most varied and scrumptious Christmas baskets. I wouldn’t use anyone else’s services. He is the best!

Placed an order for Valentine’s Day but wasn’t sure what arrangement to get. Spoke with Stephen at Bloom Fresh. He provided great ideas and insight, and was able to create a beautiful arrangement in my price point. I was going to have the flowers delivered the day before Valentine’s Day but due to impending inclement weather, I asked if the delivery could be completed two days prior to Valentine’s Day. Stephen assured that this would be no problem. The delivery was timely and the flowers were great. Per the recipient, they were the best flowers she had ever received. Received beautiful healthy red roses on Valentine’s Day. Your delivery person was extremely nice. My boyfriend specifically requested an early delivery to my office and they were here by 9:45. My flowers have been getting compliments all day and everyone says the same thing, «Wow they look so fresh and healthy!»

My bouquet was absolutely stunning and it was exactly what I wanted. I gave them a lot of leeway to choose the varieties that would work best, and I can’t believe how perfectly it was designed. They even incorporated a piece of jewelry that had belonged to my grandmother into the ribbon on the stems.
The entire process from the time I placed the order to my wedding day when my groom picked up the flowers was effortless. All the flowers were perfect, packaged up carefully for transportation, and ready on time. If I had to make the decision again I would go with Bloom without another thought!

My husband used this florist for the 1^st time as we are new to the Alexandria area. I have to say that this florist goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with your arrangement! Although the arrangement was very beautiful and creative, I did notify them that a few of the flowers were wilted and Stephen immediately delivered a new arrangement. When he found out that I had received a different arrangement than the one originally delivered, he made another arrangement and delivered that one too (all in the same day). Thanks to Stephen for taking customer satisfaction so seriously. I certainly know I would not have gotten this kind of care and concern from other florists so would highly recommend them and will use them again! I know why they have been voted one of the top florists in Alexandria-​they make customer satisfaction a priority. Thanks again Stephen!

I ordered a GORGEOUS arrangement called «Strikingly Chic» for my mom’s birthday from Bloom via their website, which was very easy to navigate. I ordered a day before her birthday and not only did it go off without a hitch… they arrived at 12 noon on her birthday! My mom lives with us, and I work from home, so I was there to receive them for her. The delivery man was sooo sweet. :) And OMG how exquisitely beautiful these flowers are! See pictures. A veritable vibrant burst of Fall. My mom is overjoyed. One more thing… from the time I ordered until (and after) delivery… I received email updates which was invaluable to me. I stopped by this shop today with an engagement ring and an antique silver box in hand. The florists worked their magic and, while I waited, enhanced the presentation of my ring using fresh flowers to keep the ring in place inside the box. They are now part of my engagement story!
