****NEVER USE THEM*****
Scheduled an appointment, and the just showed up on different day unannounced
They replaced a booster pump through the home warranty, but fried the electrical system in the process
They then refused to admit guilt, and would not come out to fix the issue
WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!

We scheduled an appointment with this company a week in advance, to come fix our spa and they never showed up, nor did they call. Do not use American Craftsman, they obviously do not need, nor want, your business.

I am a contractor myself so I am not unsympathetic to a small businesses but this company is terrible. American Craftsmen flooded our backyard by pumping the nasty collected water from winter into our neighbors yard, missed several appt’s without calling, showed up unannounced every time they actually managed to get here, refused to return calls about the flooding problem, and neglected to complete maintenance included in the contract. I was promised the mess created by the 5 inches of water in our neighbors, and our own, yards would be cleaned up. its been a month. its still messed up and only 2 weeks after opening our pool looks like crap, mostly algae. hired a new company today, and they pointed out what AC neglected to take care of but wanted to charge us for.
You talk to one employee about a problem and when another one shows up, they have no idea what your talking about. Frustrating when your paying someone almost $ 3,000.00 to do a job correctly.
DO NOT use this company. Their employees seem clueless (the flood), the management less than organized (no calls back — it took 3 days before i caught one of them wandering around my backyard without permission but with a video camera… they hadn’t even talked to me about the problem yet! — i had made no threats about suing them). they even stopped taking our phone calls, and would only pick up when i called from my brothers cell phone. unbelievably terrible service. their estimates are also very high when compared to imperial or millenium — about a thousand dollars over the competition for opening, maintenance, and closing.
I could go on but i want to stop thinking about it. I am not alone, search American Craftsmen Pool complaints on google if you don’t believe me.
