Adiam Hair Salon & Spa

I went here today for the first time… I didn’t really know what to think given that the only review on Unilocal is a VERY negative one.
I wanted a hair cut. I have an A line Bob and wanted to change it to something even and layered.
The stylist that did my cut is Adiam. She was very pleasant. I was impressed and the cut is super cute. I am happy and plan to go back.
They have several stylist and there were many clients when I arrived. It looks like this is a nice place for many different types of styles.

I only gave them one star because I had to.
To start, I was only there because of a groupon deal. I had a 1pm appointment for full highlights, cut, and style and when I arrived I was told they were trying to get a hold of me because they double booked the time slot. I did not receive a call and did not have any miss calls. I was told to come back in an hour. When I arrived at 2pm I still had to wait another 20 mins.
I told the stylist I wanted something slightly lighter than the color blonde that I previously had done. It took her 2 hours to put the foils in! Most of the time she was distracted and twice was talking on her cell phone while doing my hair. After the foils were put in, she took me to the dryer. I have had my hair died plenty of times and have never once been put under the dryer with foils. I was under the heat for 15 mins when the dye started to drip all over me and the chemicals started to burn my eyes! I was then taken out of the dryer and told to sit for a little longer to let the color set in all while the dye was still dripping out of the foils.
Finally I was taken to get my hair washed out. She only took out the bottom foils because she said the top needed more time. My gut was telling me they were in long enough. So she preceded to rinse the bottom of my hair. During this she ended up soaking the back of my dress. Ten mins passed and she took the rest of the foils out and washed my hair fully.
I was then taken back to her chair for the cut. When I finally saw the finished color it was way too light on most of my head with one section of yellowed hair. She didn’t even dye all of my roots. The dye job was awful and now have to go get my hair fixed by someone who knows what she is doing.
I ended up leaving after 4 HOURS! It was evident that the employees in this salon do not care about their customers. All in all I would never recommend this place,
