Personal dog & puppy obedience training and behavior modifications. We also offer dog care-​kennel free in our home. This means your dogs have somebody there ²⁴⁄₇ caring for your dog and keeping correspondence with you while you are away enjoying your time with no worries. They have free run of the house the same as Stash, Hugo and Dallas.

With over 20 years of dog training and behavior modifications we will come to your home for an initial consultation, at no charge, to determine what type of training will be best for your dog. Other services offered are socialization which is crucial for a well mannered dog, puppy potty training and if you have to crate your dog, we will come in and take them for a walk so they are not crated for too long a time. History

Established in 2013.

For many years my sister Vicky and I always talked about having a business caring for dogs. With my many years of dog training and the special classes on dog behavior we decided this was the right time to start our business since moving back to New York. We are both firm believers in positive reinforcement not punishment. We had also decided that because we never wanted to leave our dogs in a kennel when we went away we would have a kennel free environment. We like the thought of being able to to send pictures in a text, so you can see how much fun your dog is having and you can relax and not worry. That was the big determination that opened us up to a kennel free dog care. That is also why our Mission Statement is simple: To love and care for each animal just like we would want someone to take care of ours. For as far back as I can remember I always had a special place in my heart for animals, especially dogs. There wasn’t a stray dog, squirrel, duck or pigeon I didn’t bring home and train in one way or another. I have been training dogs of my own and helping friends train their dogs for several years. Training for the Canine Good Citizen Certification and working with dogs who became visitors of nursing homes. I have taken classes on animal behavior, obedience training and behavior modifications. Before moving back to NY from California I had the opportunity to work with a dog trainer known as the Dog Whisperer of El Segundo. Working with dogs was always my passion and that is why my sister and I decided to open Stash’s Country Acres.
