Our experienced and qualified tutors provide one-​on-​one tutoring for all subjects & grade levels, as well as ACT /​SAT test preparation, time management, skill-​building and much more. At Tutor Doctor we specialize in assessing where your student is academically and begin where they are lacking knowledge, not where the school or syllabus needs them to be.

*We come directly to the child’s home to deliver tutoring services instead of fragmenting a family’s precious time together by forcing parents to act as «taxi drivers».

*We offer flexibility in the tutor’s schedule so that tutoring time slots fit into a family’s busy schedule.

* Struggling students can get one on one attention instead of being limited to the «one-​to-​many» teaching models used by most extra-​curricular learning centers.

* Our tutors develop personalized programs by working with the child’s existing homework and school curriculum instead of loading more standard textbook work on an already overwhelmed child.

History

Established in 2011.

More than 15 years ago, we had a simple idea and a desire to make a difference. We wondered why parents had to adjust their family’s busy schedules and drive half way across town just to put their child in another classroom with more kids… when in fact it was the classroom experience that their child was struggling with in the first place. These questions and more were eventually answered through the development of the Tutor Doctor program. Over the last 12+ years, the Tutor Doctor vision has taken shape. Now with offices internationally, the Tutor Doctor vision is becoming a reality as the lives of students and their families are being positively impacted.

Business Owner

Matthew Woodcock is the owner of the Tutor Doctor office which serves Albuquerque and the surrounding communities. At Tutor Doctor, Matthew utilizes a proven building block learning process through an in-​home, private, one-​to-​one tutoring service.

Matthew Woodcock is a leader in the community and extremely vested in the success of those in the community. Matthew moved to New Mexico in 2000 and fell in love with both the culture and the people and has spent the years since striving to improve everything he touches. His favorite quote is «you don’t know what you don’t know until you have seen and experienced it with your own two eyes.»
