Toni:

I have been dealing with a life threatening heart lung disease for twelve years. I feel very fortunate to be alive. God has given me a «chance» and in return I want to help where I can. I have seen hard times; my family were helped by loving family and friends and we were on the receiving end of care packages from the school. We were never asked for anything in return. I did not know who was behind the care package; all I can say it was heartwarming and humbling. I was in awe of those who helped us and I had no idea who to thank.

«Pay It Forward» is my/​our way of saying thanks. Coming from a place of understanding I am able to move forward. Thank God’s for my family, friends and those who lend a helping hand.

I live by the «PAY it FORWARD» creed. We help whenever and whenever we can. The only thing I ask in return:

«Do the unexpected» do something kind for someone and ask them to Pay it Forward” to keep the spirit alive.”

Toni Ramsey has have been involved with USSSA softball since the mid-​1980; during which time she has been a player, coach, and Director for USSSA. Toni was Manager Team member at the Albuquerque Sportsplex from 1988 to its closing in November 03 which received National USSSA Complex Award 02. Named NM State Director of in 09 & will be inducted into the New Mexico USSSA Hall of Fame in 2014 for 25 years of service. With the help of Jeff and her children we are able to coordinate the tournaments and «give back» to those in need, as I had once been. When asked why we do what we do, «Gratitude».
