John E.

Business Owner

John Edward, a native New Mexican, is the owner and founder of The Edward Group, LLC which started in 1996 and has been a growing and successful company. Growth has continued every year since 1996 in terms of more satisfied clients. John has been in the financial services industry since 1989. Also, in 1989 he received his real estate broker’s license after successfully graduating as student athlete from N.M. State University. At NMSU, while setting school and NCAA records in baseball, he majored in both finance and real estate. While finishing his double major John played Professional Baseball in the Cincinnati Red’s and California Angels minor league systems.

In 1994 he earned his life and health license and a Series 6 and 63 after earning his MBA in Policy and Planning and Business Development from The University of New Mexico’s Anderson Schools and Fellowship at Georgetown University. John, his wife Gayle and their kids enjoy gardening and the beautiful NM outdoors.
