Established in 2014.

The Bakhtiar Mortgage Team recently joined LeaderOne Financial. LeaderOne Financial, one of the nation’s fastest growing mortgage companies is a mortgage lender big enough to get things done and small enough to have a personal touch. And while Mr. Bakhtiar has been doing this for many years, he’s particularly excited to begin his partnership with LeaderOne. «My team and I are so grateful and excited to join forces with LeaderOne,» he says. «We’re excited about the future of the mortgage industry, and our views and principles are aligned with the vision of LeaderOne. Originally from Northern California, Mr. Bakhtiar has lived in Albuquerque since 1986, a place he’s come to call home. «I graduated from the University of New Mexico with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. I wanted to go to medical school because I have a real passion for helping and connecting with people. As it turns out, I never went to medical school, but I’m doing exactly what I set out to do: helping people and connecting with them.»

It’s the connection with people that serves as a theme throughout Mr. Bakhtiar’s life. «It’s one of the earliest business lessons I learned,» he says. «Treat people like they’re family. Let them feel that connection — that you understand you’re helping make what’s likely to be the biggest purchase of their lives. Give them advice. Give them a road map. It’s connecting with their short term goals, their long term goals — all of it. Our passion is helping people.»
