I love this place. Amazing sweets. European Style pastries. The Rum Balls are out of control !
The lunches are super filling with everything made in house. Nice outdoor seating as well.

All I can say is WOW! Finally made it in here for breakfast Our party had two soft rolls and a breakfast pannini. Excellent counter staff, incredible food and dessert to take home!!! What more could a foodie ask for? Ended up taking half the pannini and soft roll home as well. We shall be returning here soon.

This is my favorite Saturday treat. Good coffee, delicious Ul-​Pretz-​Imate sandwich. The rum balls will keep you going back time and time again. Cute atmosphere and friendly staff.

Me and my wife had lunch here it was amazing I ordered a Monte Cristo my wife ordered a French dip I loved the rear ration on my wife sandwich and mine was a little messy but all around great sandwiches my monte Cristo had spicy mustard and pairs perfectly with the raspberry jelly I also got some goodie for my family all around good experience

Swiss Alps turned out to be a wonderful find as I was driving around one day. Small, cute inside. Great outdoor space, too.
I had the Matterhorn sandwich and it was to die for. Loads of meat… quality sauerkraut… awesome bread. I also picked up a slice of carrot cake, which was so good — and that says a lot for me. I am self-​proclaimed carrot cake snob.
Haven’t been back yet, but I will go again soon!

Hits the spot! Lived in Europe for over a decade and I really miss all the mellow flavored pastries (compared to the sugar-​laden sweets we find way too often here)…oh but this place hits the spot! Both times I went after noon so I missed out on some of their more popular items but what I did find made me a repeat customer. The bienenstitch was yummy. The tart delicious. The meringue… Omg finally someone got the taste and consistency just right! I forget all the nom noms I tried. I was a little disappointed in the nut roll since I thought the pastry was way too big for the filling but heck I’m still happy I didn’t have to pay 10 euros per pop just to have them sent from Germany. Will be going back. Try it. I’m sure you’ll like it.

I am absolutely insanely, hopelessly devoted to German and other European sweets. I first tried this place a few years ago and wasn’t that impressed. It seems they have had a revival of sorts and things have turned around. Every time I walk in they have a delicious lunch special of gigantic portions and a dessert case full of a variety of fresh and unique sweets. My number one favorite dessert of all time is the German cake bienenstich, or «bee sting» cake. It’s made with honey, almonds, and some form of custard. The bienenstich I had at Swiss Alps is even better than a slice I had at a famous German bakery in the historic German Village in Columbus, Ohio. It’s that good.
It’s a good thing this place usually closes by 4 p.m. and that they are a bit of a drive from me, or I would definitely have to buy an entirely new wardrobe to accommodate my new cake-​bod. Carrot cake is another dessert I am particularly fond of, and I use it as a kind of baseline to judge an establishment. If someone puts care into the details of the frosting, uses embellishments like nuts, etc, and it’s a good, hefty slice… chances are, I approve. Never underestimate the power of a good carrot cake. Swiss Alps Bakery has a personal touch and attention to detail that is lacking from the sometimes sterile, uncreative desserts of places like Flying Star and with competitive prices.
The sandwiches come with either a bag of chips or potato salad, which is legit stuff. Sometimes I wish they had a healthy-​ish option for lunch, but let’s be real, I don’t go to the adult equivalent of a gingerbread house of goodies to stick to my diet!

Nice little neighborhood bakery with breads, cookies, and pastries, in addition to some breakfast offerings and sandwiches for lunch. Also has a small patio that’s comfortable in nice weather.

Dropped in for coffee, and a brunch, had a delightful Green Chile and cream cheese in a bear claw type croissant wrap. both the coffee and the pastry were divine!
I usually have cash on me, but that day i was short, and the coffee and pastry were under the $ 5 minimum, so i happily got 2 cherry and almond cookies, which were wonderful as well.

Friendly service. Selection of pastries was pretty picked over. Maybe come early in the day? Had a cherry Danish. Found 3 half cherries the rest of the filling was just… cherry pudding? I’ll try it again. We haven’t cut into to stollen yet but it smells really good. Fingers crossed. Also the apple raisin Danish seemed to be a hit.

Nice quit location. Friendly service. The baked goods are delicious. The coffee not so much. Clearly not fresh brewed. It sits unattended in a self pour pot for hours, unnoticed by staff. If this nice place could get its coffee groove on, it could hit five stars. Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain.

Finally got to try this place and was impressed. The chicken salad sandwich was fresh and tasty. The service was fast and friendly. Can’t wait to go back and explore other menu items and their baked goods.

Really wanted to like this place more, kinda disappointed. If you want to encourage ppl to return maybe a little more effort in presentation would help… if you decide to sit down and enjoy a croissant and coffee maybe having a real plate and cup would be nice?! Styrofoam plates and to go cups, really??? (including bad for the environment)

Stopped by this little bakery to see what they have to offer on a cozy day and lets just say, «nada»! It was a little bit busy but not enough to even get a greet from the staff or a smile especially when your small & local «Let’s step it up people, especially when your small, your business thrives off of word of mouth «Shame on YOU»
I asked her is there any baked item they specialize in or that is popular to try, she nodded and said everything is okay and seemed not interested in a $ale, «Wow where is the people skills, I should of heard from her «Everything we make is special in taste & flavor, I really love_​_​_​_​and you must try _​_​_​_​but I didnt get that at all. Very sad I went ahead and got a triangle shaped raisin baked item (it was average, slightly above her customer service) and some coffee. BTW they need to get a new vendor for coffee as the coffee is horrible & awful tasting, I think it was Red Rock Roasters something like that.
She was nice enough however to allow me only to charge on my debit card under the $ 5.00 minimum. If only I would of had better customer service maybe she would of been able to up sale me and I would of spent more, «to bad so sad!!»

The staff is friendly. The order came fast, but was only half homemade. The bread roll was great, but the egg was not. It was one that you microwave that’s a perfectly round disc. Sausage was ok, probably premade frozen box. The bread and pastries look good, which is all I will return for.

I enjoyed the idea that you can build your own soft roll… probably going to try that next time.
The baked goods are on point and are fresh to the taste. The taste, and look like they are made with pride. If you like to go off the beaten path, I would recommend you walk into here for a morning, lunch/​brunch pick me up.

The items at Swiss alps are deliciously made with quality ingredients, care and love. They have a nice selection of desserts and an even better selection of freshly baked beads. But let’s not stop there because they also offer sandwiches, croissants, and soup bowls. Coffee is hot and tasty and made fresh for you. If you’d like a small quaint spot to enjoy a sandwich or a sweet treat give Swiss alps a try. I’m sure you’ll b satisfied and back for more!

Originally I wanted to try this place on a Sunday but after my best friend and I rode our bikes there, turns out they were not open. Just an FYI, they are closed both Sunday and Monday.
But after finally making it there it was great. I think I had more fun looking at all the pastries they make and making my own list of what I want to try next time I make it there.
The employees were helpful and patient, especially since they became a bit busy while we were deciding on what to order. I can’t wait to return.

I’ve been hearing about the Swiss Alps Bakery for awhile. I thought they had a wide array of breads and sweets. And they do! What I didn’t know is that they also have sandwiches and soups as well. And man, are they good!
I had their special — ham and swiss melt on green chili focaccia bread, with chips and potato salad. The ham was tender and well-​seasoned, and the green chili focaccia was delicious and had just the right heat. The pasta salad was quite excellent, and made with mayo (dieters beware. I added on a peanut butter bar which was topped with chocolate and made with what appeared to be rice crisps as well. Really good, but sweet.
Limited outdoor seating, but nice.
