Great food for the price. Get all you can eat but come hungry. Awesome service from staff. I highly recommend this place if you’re a foodie.

Good sushi, but if you’re looking for serious sashimi I would go somewhere else. The service was friendly and fast and the food came out perfect! This location is a bit small though and on a cool night the entire restaurant is cold due to the door opening and closing. Also at this location you’re charged for miso soup, and at the Wyoming location it’s complimentary. Definitely a good place for a sushi first timer though! Their menu has pictures of all their rolls and most have tempura in the middle, making it a good starting place. I always come here with friends who aren’t fans of sushi and they leave converted! My favorite is the Crunchy Munchy roll with a side of squid salad and miso soup :)

Very good value. Sushi is above average and, yes, they have rules to the All You Can Eat but it’s very easy to abide. Best to sit at the Sushi bar — the chef’s are always much nicer than the actual servers.

Best sushi I have ever had! I literally come here once a week and the employees are so friendly and welcoming! I would highly recommend their shrimp tempura role it is so amazing! I have tried several different kinds of sushi and all of them are delicious! You can’t go wrong with eating here!

Pretty mediocre sushi place. The prices were about the same as anywhere else in town, but the rolls tasted cheap, not fresh, and the service was poor. We waited for straws and our order to be taken for quite a while until someone came to our table. There are too many other better sushi restaurants at about the same price within walking distance of this place in Nob Hill. It wasn’t terrible, but I won’t be coming back.

Decent sushi, overpriced though. All you can eat has complicated rules and staff is lousy.

Don’t tell me that you are coming to an all you can eat sushi establishment thinking that you will have one of the best sushi experiences of your life. If you order water and your bill is 20 bucks and you believe the above is true, please message me about some Florida marsh property I have for sale. That said, let’s clear up what«all you can eat» means. You get to order off the sushi menu TWICE, but as much as you want each time. If you leave anything left on your plate, then they charge you the menu price for that item. Yes they put a bit more rice on the nigiri, and a bit less fish on it, too, but considering the popularity and turnaround of the fish you’re not gonna get sick or have a bad piece. The aroma can be a bit off-putting as they also have a korean kitchen doing their thing in the same venue, but damn, twenty bucks will satisfy my wallet and my craving for sushi when I just don’t want to drop more than that elsewhere. Take that, Unilocal

ok lets get this straight right off the bat. this place is not all you can eat. you cant go in there and just keep ordering what you want. they give you a piece of paper and you do your first order. after your first order they give you another piece of paper and you can order again. then thats it. no more. so you can order all you want twice and then you are done. if you order anything and dont eat it they charge you extra and trust me they keep telling you this over and over again. so if by the second piece of paper you are still hungry to bad and if you thought you could handle what you order and cant they charge you… STUPIDRULE

I honestly don’t know what everyone’s complaining about. For reference, my boyfriend and I are from the west coast – where we get fresh sushi daily. I wouldn’t say that we’re sushi connoisseurs but we definitely know wrong from right. With that said, Sushi & Sake’s quality has never disappointed us. It’s a nice place to go for the price too. We’ve been here several times in the last three years and it’s satisfying for us while we are away from home. They lose a star because their servers are hint or miss. Some are cheery and quirky, but some just hate their jobs.

3 of us had all u can eat sushi last night. Ugh! Very poor. The Nigiri had way too much rice and very thin pieces of fish. If we had wanted a bowl of white rice we would have ordered one! The Hamachi Nigiri was all dried up. When we pointed this out to our server she tried to pass it off as «that is the way we serve it». Overall fish was not cold and beer was luke warm Service was poor. Go elsewhere, we all deserve better!

A friend and I grabbed lunch here and both ordered the deluxe sushi combo. What came out was pretty unbearable and neither of us finished our meals. The avocado in the California and spicy tuna rolls was more of a tasteless mush. The Shrimp had not been fully cleaned and smelled/tasted of bleach. The tuna was ok, and what other items we had were mediocre at best. At $ 15 each, it’s not like this was a screaming deal, either. If you want sushi in Nob Hill there aren’t a lot of choices and no good choices, but avoid this place.

Modern industrial vibe, but smells a bit like old grease inside. Sushi rice was flavorless and not cooked well. Maybe the hot food is better? Wanted this place to be at least decent because it is so convenient, but, alas, I won’t be returning. Tried Sakura the other night — now that is sushi worth eating.

I like their cooked food. It has a nice presentation and comes out pretty quickly. I wasn’t a big fan of their sushi. It was a bit bland for a special roll. If you don’t want to do sushi and just want their hot food, definitely come here. Don’t expect anything fancy with the sushi though.

Our favorite place to eat in Albuquerque and by far the best Sushi in NM. You have to try the Nob Hill Roll. Whenever my boyfiend and I eat out this is where we have to go. I really can’t say enough good things about this restraunt. Even though they have all you can eat, we share 3 rolls, and are full with leftovers! They have chef’s rolls, which are huge, one chef roll is more than enough food for dinner for me. We spend $ 30 + tip each time. They have several more rolls, than their website lists.

Good price, great sushi, awesome atmosphere! I really love this place. They have a huge variety of specialty rolls(Hot Mama and Nob Hill rolls are awesome!) Plus for $ 20 you can do all you can eat. Also if you’re with company that’s not a fan of sushi, they have yummy grilled meat entrees to choose from. So if you don’t feel like draining your wallet but you want to have a good sushi dinner, I highly recommend this place.

Many of the sushi chefs aren’t Japanese, and the sushi is definitely not traditional — chicken, barbecue sauce, and green chilies feature prominently on the menu. The silly sushi is good, especially anything with green chilies — they’re in a crisp tempura batter, flavorful and addictively spicy. The more traditional fish sushis definitely suffer from the sheer distance to the ocean, but the chef’s specials often have interesting combinations or sauces that make up for the fish quality. The sushi chefs are engaging and talkative, and so are the other patrons. Great fun if you don’t sweat the utter lack of authenticity. The«all you can eat» sushi has a lot of terms and conditions. Some sushi isn’t eligible. You have to order it all at once. And despite the restaurant name, you don’t get sake. You also have to pay for anything you don’t eat, and there’s a time limit.

STAYAWAY! BEWARE! Low Quality. We went in with a group of 6 on a slow night. The Korean manager actually came out and yelled at us because we asked to order the sushi seperately. She told us we had ro combine our orders or leave! We did combine our orders and half of us got stomach cramps later! I wonder if they did something to our food!

Often filled with College students, this place serves up cheap sushi to oodles of happy college kids looking for something light on the wallet. Now, I know land-locked states can provide world-class sushi(see Shohko Café in Santa Fe, for example), but what this place passes off for sushi is an embarrassment and might even be dangerous if it wasn’t so obviously fresh out of the freezer. One can forgive an inexpensive sushi place for many things, but the cost/quality ratio is far too skewed here.

Need a sushi fix? One president Jackson bill Go all you can eat (There are other sushi places in ABQ, but as far as I know, this is the ONLY place in town that offers an «All you can eat» option. I’m going to be honest… I’m pretty sure when you choose this option, they serve you second-class sushi. But who are we kidding… when you choose the $ 20 «All the sushi you can eat», it’s all about QUANTITY anyway… not QUALITY. Read the other reviews for details about the«All you can eat» option… they have some rules to minimize waste, which is actually a pretty good idea. Recommended.)

Sushi & Sake is part of the Korean BBQ place which is in front of a very old motel on Central. It’s small, décor is nothing special, seating is limited to 2 top and 4 top. The bar is small is primarly used for the servers to move sushi to patrons. The menu is interesting and the speciality rolls are pretty good. We opted for the Cowboy roll — a bit too much chili sauce for me, the Mango Tango — my favorite, mango added an interesting sweetness that is not a usual part of sushi, Philly Roll — good but nothing special, Spicy Tuna roll — very good. We opted for the Individual instead of All You Can Eat option(additional order in 1 hour timeframe). I love sushi but AYCE is a bit much. The service was slow but they were limited to 2 servers and a busy Saturday night. All we wanted was our drinks and sushi. We didn’t need a lot of fuss and we knew with only 2 servers, we wouldn’t get A+ service. No biggie. We knew what we were getting involved in when we walked in. Prices were fantastic. It was $ 35 for the two of us and we had leftover rolls. The place is not high end but it fist the bill when you want a good sushi fix.
