History

Established in 2011.

Spruce was developed by a creative couple in Albuquerque, NM who are passionate about helping small businesses grow and flourish. After being employed at several other design firms around town for many years, they compiled a list of important factors that all of them were missing and came up with a business plan for a truly unique marketing and design company that focused on helping small businesses compete in the market place. Spruce is gaining new customers every day, mostly as referrals from their current customers, and is excited to continue to be able to provide a one-​of-​a-​kind service to the Albuquerque area.

Business Owner

Myriah attended The Art Center (now known as the SW University of Visual Arts) when she was 17 and studied interior design. After a few semesters she realized that she enjoyed designing and laying out her presentation boards more than she actually enjoyed interior design. Upon this realization she switched her degree to graphic design instead. She had found her calling!

During her years in school, Myriah accumulated a handful of freelance clients (most of which are still with her today), and she had no trouble finding work right after graduating. After 4 years of working full time in the field, Myriah’s freelance clientele had blossomed and she no longer had enough time to be employed full time and take care of her freelance clients. So she, along with her fiancé (who is a marketing specialist) Started Spruce Design and Marketing, a full service design and marketing company that specializes in helping small businesses compete in the market place. After 2 years Spruce is going strong.
