Business Owner

Mitchell Steinberg is Ruby Creek Design’s founder, owner, and principal web technologist. His career includes 20 years in the high-​technology industry where he has worked as a software designer, Director of Engineering for a Fortune 500 company and Vice President of Engineering for a small consulting company that he cofounded.

Mitchell has earned degrees in psychology from the University of Utah and engineering from M.I.T. and currently holds ten patents.

The web design process merges a number of his interests and skills. His psychology degree helps in understanding the «usability» issues that web users face and how to design a satisfying user experience, and his engineering and technology background is well suited to understanding how to translate conceptual requirements and design into a functional and polished end product.
