Get the dolmas! This is a funky little café in the back of jewelry store so it’s pretty easy to miss. Go in, head to the back and up a few stairs and you’re there. It’s a nice place to stop in Old Town if you want to avoid the usual crowds.

Food is good, had the gyros platter, comes with seasoned fries and a greek salad. The pita pizza was pretty good, nothing i couldn’t have made at home. Didn’t really like the mango smoothie, very artificial and sweet. you could do better with a naked juice mango smoothie from the super market. Sitting on the patio was nice. The waitress and waiter were really nice; i guess i was the only customer there for lunch on a friday. The owner is a little weird, complained a lot. You order with the waitress but have to pay the owner…

While strolling through old town Albuquerque, we happened onto this small Greek Café. After a week of eating New Mexican food, we were happy to have something different. I had the chicken gyro and sun iced tea. Both were delicious. The Greek fries were spiced with a little oregano, and we especially enjoyed the pita bread. This is not a fast-food place so the food will take time to prepare. It’s located in the back of a gallery which adds to the quaintness of the location.

This small Greek café was located in the back of the High Desert Galley in the Old Town section of Albuquerque. If not paying attention it is very easy to miss. The café is very small, with only four tables, but a quaint atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and courteous. There were numerous Greek dishes to select from and traditional foods such as hot dogs. I had a classic gyro and was not disappointed. It came with seasoned Greek fries, which were very good. The gyro was freshly prepared, and took about ten minutes. The meat was perfectly cooked and the vegetables crisp. This is not a 5 start restaurant by any means, but if you are in Old Town it is a great place to stop in and have a quick lunch.
